There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

Nice, small child friendly zoo

Went here during October half term with my wife and two young boys aged 3 and 5. Bought a family ticket and saved a few pounds for entry. The zoo is a nice size for little ones... read more

We had my sister and her two toddler kids visiting us and we had all a great time at with exploring the animals and the playgrounds. I was particularly impressed with the cafe. We only had some hot beverages and our own picnic and when my nice spilt hot tea over her they were absolutely ready to help with cold... More

It's compact and good for young children. Apart from looking at the animals, my kid had a great time at the sandpit too! Food at cafe was reasonable priced. And we love the slushie! What striked us was that the zoo is REALLY CLEAN! And well-maintained! All in all, well worth the entrance fee!

We went here today with 2 children aged 10 and 7. The entry fee was ok but probably not value for money after seeing the limited amount of animals. It's a place you can spend an hour but not much more. £29 for a family ticket is OK but rather expensive for 1 hour's entertainment. Quite a few animals either... More

Went there with the kids, there were a number of empty cages with no animals, and the cost for this was far too expensive. The entrance is also the exit so people with push chairs have trouble getting in and out. There seemed to be morte staff sitting having a break then there were animals, I would have liked to... The zoo itself is within the huge park of battersea. The park is absolutely stunning and peaceful. The zoo however is extremely small and has very few animals. Out baby daughter loves animal but unfortunate she didnt get to see many.

We had a wonderful day here with our 1 year old and 3 year old. We saw the otters and meerkats being fed, the children fed the bunnies themselves. We all had great fun with the sand and water. We met up with family friends and a nice simple lunch at the cafe there.

Took my 20 month old son for the first time yesterday (1st September). I soon realised he was a little too young to take it all in. He was enjoying chasing the pigeons that gathered around us outside the cafe and wasn't really interested in anything else. I'd have been better off taking him to Trafalgar Square! Not to say... I joined my friend’s family in spending a nice afternoon in the park and their two small children were especially excited to visit this amazing little zoo. It was a great fun for all of us!

As regular visitors to London for the last 8 years, we are always looking for new things to do. I saw a mention of the Battersea Park Children's Zoo on a different site and thought to have a look. Now I am a 44 year old child and have a 17 year old daughter interested in and currently studying animal... More
