We rode Santander bikes around the park which has wide boulevards and is very well kept. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the park and we rode to the boating lake and pavilion. An idyllic spot and well worth a visit.

This park, situated in East London, is very much a park for Londoners. Whereas the main parks in the Centre of the City are full of tourists, this feels more London. A huge space with plenty of areas to walk and relax, several cafes and many features, great for kids also. Close to Hackney Wick and London Fields for food options before or after. Can on recommend!

Busy park with a Victorian legacy. The park is home to many historic artifacts and features and has decorative gardens and wilder natural areas as well as open grass lands. It also hosts a lawn bowls club. Victoria Park is used as a concert venue and hosts many festivals each year.

A glorious 213 acre park available for anyone visiting the Hackney area of London. Just an excellent park for anyone from singles to families to relax or play or eat in (markets and to picnic in), Visiting on may occasions, the park has many faces with the weather playing an important part. Our 1st visit was during the extremely hot London weather during August with the park severely drought affected, whilst our final visits in October showed a green park in a different light, with the return of rain and cooler weather. The Sunday markets added another dimension to the parks enjoyment.

Victoria Park was created after Queen Victoria decreed that there needed to be an open green space for the people of East London to enjoy.
You can tell that it was created in Victorian times as there are lots of grand carriageways for people to be able to walk, run or cycle without getting in the way of each other. I imagine in the past it was a place for people to promenade and show off.
The park is huge and there are plenty of benches to sit on. There are lots of trees and flowerbeds and also some public toilets available.
It's a really lovely place to visit. Highly recommended.

Its a very nice decent park. We go there whenever we get a chance on the weekends. Good playground for kids. Today I saw around 10 birthday parties for kids in the south half of the park. Absolutely brilliant place for kids parties.

Really lovely large park. Friendly environment with everyone in there. Lots of room for cycling, ball games, running without encroaching on others spaces. Coutts build fountain within the park work a look at. Commissioned by Countess Burdett a member of the famous banking family, to ensure people of East London had fresh drinking water. Lots of greenery, trees, lawns, lake with ducks and swans. Take a nice leisurely walk around the park. Sunday's there is a market for fresh produce, plus lots and lots of street food available. Really take time out to visit.

Pay on machine parking available front of park. Behind the park streets weekend free parking.
Entering the park is free for everyone.
Loads of restaurant, coffee shop, pubs around.
Closest underground Mile End.
Few buses including 277.

We really love this park! It's got everything we like including a lake, a walk along the canal, a cafe and some nice flowerbeds. The nicest part is that on a Sunday they have the Farmer's Market. There is an area for fresh produce and it's pleasant to walk along and see/buy the high end produce on offer. It's not cheap but the quality is good. There is another part nearby where you can buy street style food from a good array of vendors. Very well organised too.

So excited to see some bands again. Entry was really well organised. As are the bars. Queues for food and toilets are ridiculous. Stopped drinking because it took too long to go to the toilet - ridiculous!!!

Is it a good music venue, good facilities, views, sound, places to chill etc? Thanks

Hello, they Have a music festival every summer here. It is a huge park with two health conscience vegitarian restaurants. Boating on the lake, a running track, kids amusements, bicycles and I love to go down to the canal from here and walk alongside the boats to other places. On Sundays there is a wonderful food market, cooked food stands from around the world and fresh produce to buy and take home. Hope you get there.
