Given the balmy April weather we thought it a suitable destination for my 14,12 and 8 year old children. Firstly parking. There are restrictions by the park and traffic wardens on the prowl I would recommend parking on Dunstan Road which is free on weekends...More

Visited here by taking the bus and getting off at Dunston/W. Heath rd. A short walk to the park. Beautiful spring flowers-daffodils, tulips, magnolia and cherry trees in bloom. We had intended to cross over to Hampstead Heath proper but ended up wandering around here....More

This is a hidden treasure. Beautifully laid out formal gardens but totally in tune with the natural surroundings of Hampstead Heath. Even in Winter with no flowers in bloom there was real beauty in the gardens with different shades of foliage evident.

Although having walked on Hampstead Heath hundreds of times, did not know this place existed but what a find. This park is very well kept and has something for everyone. There is a perfectly adequate cafe with outside seating and a separate ice cream counter...More

Large sandpit in playground with a few rubbish toys so well worth taking some with you. We went on a very hot day and shade was sparse.

The deer are in an enclosure so you don't get close to them unlike some parks where they roam freely, but still close enough to get a good view. Hope this helps 😁
