Neighborhood: Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Just read a review of G&G which was a bit waspish and that's a bit strong. Yes they have the rudest most unreliable delivery people in the history of customer service and timescales are all a bit 'relative', but the staff are intelligent and interested and you don't get fobbed off with some call centre in Manilla, and its all a bit quaint rather than poor.
The kit's worth waiting for and they do little things like put extra nobs in the drawers ready for when your kids/tenants/airbnb-troglodytes rip them off.
If really rather good and ditsy. J

The shop may be nice (never been) but their online delivery is a disaster. Their "excellent" customer service takes just under 10 minutes to take a call and the "amazing" reps have neither the will or the means to address the issue. Avoid (at least the online shop)

This is another one of those places that sells overpriced decorative bits and bobs and makes sure to tell their salespeople to act as if they're guarding and selling the crown jewels and to behave as if everyone who comes in is beneath them. As I didn't feel like putting on my tiara and coronation gown, I decided that when I need items like this (cough, ahem, never), I'll get them elsewhere.
Now, if the staff would smile, nod, or otherwise acknowledge customers except to stare at them, the place could be a nice spot to poke around in.

Terrible service. Do not buy from this shop. Its overpriced and pretends to offer a "white-glove" delivery service that is nonsense. I paid over the odds for delivery and have had all my requests ignored and now have to wait in all day when I was told delivery would be tailored to my needs. Also, the furniture is made from cheap wood and overpriced.

Stumbled upon this shop whilst wedding dress shopping with my daughter, we both love graham & green mail order so it was great to actually visit the shop. The staff were so friendly and chatty. We loved the clothing it's a shame you can't get them via mail order. Just have to visit the shop more often.

Stumbled upon this store by accident and thanked my lucky stars ever since. It has everything you can think off...from collectables to mugs to rugs to furniture and Christmas decorations. The thing is that everything is so cute and you just want to buy the lot. The prices vary but it is on the "more expensive" side of the spectrum but it is not ridiculous which is good. You can find great bargains there and there seems to be something new all the time ( and with such a variety it’s easy to miss something) :) definitely worth a go even if it is just to window shop!
