Wonderful grounds that include an urban farm, Hackney City Farm, as well as beautiful plantings. We were there in May when many of the roses were blooming and it was absolutely beautiful.

Nice park, not the cleanest or prettiest but nice place if you've got children. Park area and lovely to walk around. We visited FriendsFest here and it was a good event, nice location to host it.

In a city full of beautiful neighborhood parks, this is one of the best. Full of great facilities, fun farm and tasty cafe, and a beautifully landscaped northern half.

This is neither a tourist attraction, nor a beautiful park. It’s essentially a local community open space with lots of playing fields and some asphalted courts. There’s a small woodland walk, a children’s playground (currently under reconstruction), and decrepit-looking circular bed of rose bushes with an odd-looking pole-like construction in the middle; I think it’s some form of modern sundial. There’s an arcaded walk on the north side which is covered in mature wisteria; it’s probably the nicest aspect of the park, and I would think it looks quite lovely in the spring when the huge wisteria is in bloom. But apart from the open space in a dense urban setting, there’s not much else to enjoy.

The park was laid out in the 1950s and extended in the 1980s when the Hackney City Farm was included. The park is reasonably flat so those using mobility assistance should not have difficulty navigating it. There’s shade trees, and some seating, and lots of green open spaces. It’s about a 20 minute walk from either Hoxton Overground station or Haggerston Overground Station.

Seriously, if you are looking for a beautiful park to explore and enjoy, head to the likes of Regent’s Park or St James’s Park.

Don’t expect your kids to enjoy the bike track as there are young adult boys there taking it over . They will not make room or allow your kids to have a turn my 9 year old was hit pretty bad because they wanted the track all for them self. Not one of them asked if she was ok more upset that there video was messed up.

Lovely park with lots of families and locals! Low key, spacious and a little rose garden circle. Toilets in one end of the park and a playground and table tennis just outside the park area.

Never before have I seen so many rats in a public park and in the space of 15 minutes (about 6). They boldly walked past me and my buggy, especially in the wooden bit. Never again !

I love this well cared for, beautiful small park. It's close to my house and I have been a constant visitor since 2004. I have watched many, wonderful changes that have improved this park. It's very popular with dog walkers, families and the occasional hipster. Next to it are a kids platlygrouns, AstroTurf football pitches, a woodland walkway and it backs onto Hackney City Farm.

I have been using this park for 10 years. A great place for dog walkers, picnics, jogging or just relaxing. The gardeners have done a wonderful job with the planting and the date and attention to its maintenance. It is constantly changing. It backs onto a wild area with a pond and Hackney City Farm. There's a kids play area. There's an AstroTurf area for hire too. A wonderful place to relax in the heart of Hackney.

It's a local park, but it's a very good one.

There's a playground, football pitches, a city farm and a dog exercise part.

Very well kept, and a little oasis in East London.
