I moved about a mile away from the Flower market last year, but started going when I sold my last flat -- every Sunday I bought gorgeous flowers for NOT a fortune. I'm no flower arranging expert, but the pure joy of Columbia market is like nothing else -- I'm an addict, and though I'm not by nature an early riser, I'm there at 7:30am on Sunday mornings, looking to see what amazing flowers they have this week. I've bought bunches of hellebore flowers (WHO ever heard of a bunch of hellebores -- I nearly died of happiness), pale green long stem hydrangeas, cherry blossom, and there's always something you'll find one week that you'll never ever see again. Columbia flower market is my favourite place in London.…

Really special London market. Beautiful flowers and plants for sale and interesting independent shops.

The oldest trick in the world. Rip off customers in a busy market. I gave the vendor a £20 and he said it was a £5. I only had a £20 pound note on me. You have no recourse. Nothing but Rip off merchants. Stay away.

No metal overhead, it's an outdoor street market... old markets such as this made London great ! Definitely worth passing by. Actually, it's quite posh and upmarket nowadays.
