Had the hour massage and 30 minute facial. Yakima, at least I think that is her name...if not, it is close, was excellent. The waiting area of the spa is a bit dated but they will soon be renovating and it is still very comfortable and relaxing. Professional staff and accommodating. Yakima was calming and clearly experienced. She helped me... More

I came here for my birthday with my mum last week and we had a lovely afternoon relaxing and being pampered. I booked in for the blossoming beauty treatment package (back massage and facial) and they managed to squeeze my mum in for a pedicure-she wasn't going to stay with me but decided to ask last minute if there was... Next door to the 5 star Langham hotel (Europe's first Grand Hotel apparently) and situated near both Central London's Harley Street and Oxford Circus shopping areas, Chuan Spa is a great place to spend the whole day relaxing at. You may even meet the occasional celebrity in the venue such is it's quality. Upstairs is the 'Contemplation Zone' an highlighting... More

I was a temporary member of the gym here. Overall the spa is small. The is a swimming pool which looks fantastic but again is small. Several times over the month the showers and jacuzzi were broken. The staff do work hard to keep the area clean and maintained but the place looks dated and like it could do with... More

Both toilets in the men's loo were blocked, I reported this at the beginning of my 2 hour trip and they were still blocked at the end, the tea after the massage tasted a bit of washing up liquid, the jakuzzi had so much chlorine in it that I couldn't get into it, I had booked a very expensive deep... Went with a companion, and what a Xmas treat this place is. A quiet and relaxing Spa, everything about the visit is fantastic. It was a great place for spoiling and pampering and the afternoon tea afterwards was amazing.

This was my second visit here and I was blown away with the level of service and the experience recieved. We were running slightly late and arrived just in time for our treatments. From the moment you walk in, the soothing music & fragrant scent put you at ease, the staff are polite & professional, great facilities to use before your treatment, I would advise booking at least a week in advance.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
