Took the 4 hour tour on Sat 21 Aug with Daphine as our guide. Time just flew by and it was an exceptional insight, to the techniques, culture and history of the whole street art scene in London. It was great just walking around the streets and getting a real "off the beaten tracks" experience of not just the art,... More

As the title indicates. There lies a passion and an educated look into the medium currently labelled as "street art" A great way to immense yourself into the challenges faced by individuals keen for expressionism to the masses, be it political or simply to give something positive back to the community. Highly recommended.

Our guide karim showed us some sublime pieces of street art along with insider information and the history behind each piece and artist. A very insightful tour of Londons street art at a Great price for 12 pound (considering most other things seem to cost 20 pound upwards). I now know where to look for graffiti be it at the... More

I did a Sunday 2hr special, and for the first 45 mins didn't get all that far from the starting place, but saw so much that I'd not have seen on my own. What is seen? Everything from tiny to huge, from faint to vibrant. The tour gradually then moved more towards Shorditch station, finishing at a gallery. At the... More

Daphne, our leader, was passionate and well informed (knowing many of the street artists herself). She describes the skills and techniques of the artists, helping us to understand the amazing talent of many of these street artists. I've lived in London for more than two years now and this is one of the best things I've ever done in London.... More

I didn't know that I was this ignorant about street art & graffiti before joining the tour. Our guide Daphné was amazing, she personnaly knew most of the artists and that added another layer to the heaps of information she gave us.

I was in London earlier this year is May and a friend recommended this tour to me. I've always loved street art but I never really knew too much about this. I did the weekday 2.5 hours tour and it beyond brilliant. Our tour guide Karim was extremely knowledgable and it was an absolute treat to see a brilliant piece... More

One of the best tours I've ever been on! I did the Shoreditch tour that was Insanely interesting! Our tour guide, Daphne was indescribably capable and passionate about street art and graffiti. She knows it all! Definitely not to miss. You will see a part of London that people, particularly tourists knew nothing about.

Thought provoking and informative 2.5 hours with Karim - with philosophy included! Vandalism v expressing oneself: advertising v art: art beginning once the artist's work is done: easier to ask forgiveness than permission - all concepts dropped casually into this very worthwhile tour. We had no experience of Street Art other than seeing space invaders in Paris. I can fully... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
