This was a great day. Easy communication with team and instructions where to meet clear. MD was a lovely host who was full of knowledge and passion for her tour. The tour included 20-30 years olds and us at 55 and was very inclusive. There was so much to see and hear about. Street art, graffiti, illegal, commissioned, different styles,... More

We took 23 art students (14-15 years old) on this tour and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Daphne was extremely knowledgable and a great communicator. Would definitely recommend this as a terrific educational outing - and it was lots of fun too! IPE (Head of Art)

We were a group of 6 from France. We toured the street with MD. As the leader of the group may say that we were all absolutely charmed, we found the tour very interesting and MD most patient and clear in her explanations... I shall definitely call on you again when I come with another group....mer ci beaucoup....Marie Nicole BAILE... More

One of my favorite things I did on my recent vacation to London. Great tour, lovely art, very knowledgable guide. Be advised that the tour does not end where it began. You can get directions back to the starting point. I enjoyed the 2 hour tour, which was just long enough.

My initial slightly sceptical approach to the tour was swiftly changed by Karim's knowledgeable enthusiasm for the subject. He is an excellent guide and the tour introduced me to artists and ideas about which I had no previous knowledge. A really worthwhile 2 hours.

Street art has become a big 'thing' in East London. This was an excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The guide knew of the newest pieces and showed examples from different types and subcultures of street art. He knew his stuff in depth and ended up showing us an example of his own art. It was a very enjoyable... More

Took a 4 hour tour on Sunday with 3 friends before we had to take the plane home. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. It was great to see another side of London that I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Took the 4 hour tour on Sat 21 Aug with Daphine as our guide. Time just flew by and it was an exceptional insight, to the techniques, culture and history of the whole street art scene in London. It was great just walking around the streets and getting a real "off the beaten tracks" experience of not just the art,... More

As the title indicates. There lies a passion and an educated look into the medium currently labelled as "street art" A great way to immense yourself into the challenges faced by individuals keen for expressionism to the masses, be it political or simply to give something positive back to the community. Highly recommended.

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
