This is a excellent tour. I think this was the best tour I took while in London. I took the afternoon tour. Lee, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny too. The highlight for me was crossing Abbey Road. Our tour guide made sure everyone got a picture of them crossing the road. If you read this Lee, I'm the guy form Wyoming. I've seen you on the web cam a few times since I've been back. Thanks again for the tour and take care.

We took the all day London Rock Tour in June 2012. I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in the rock & roll history of London. Our guide, Bob, was very knowledgeable and did a great job of answering questions etc. We did the all day tour and, for anyone contemplating doing the same, the content of the morning and afternoon tours is different. The only repeated activity was a visit to Abbey Road Studios and the famous crossing. We had no problem with making a return visit to the location in the afternoon. We did the tour early in our visit to London. Because the tour covers so much of London (geographically) it gave us ideas about some areas that we might not have known to visit. For example, later in our stay we visited Camden Town with the open air markets and very diverse atmosphere. The London Rock tour was definitely a vacation highlight for us.

This was not a good tour. My husband and I loaded into a packed mini van where the driver played clips of "old" rock music. It would turn on and off when he was not speaking. We were in alot of traffic that he could not control but he hit a rear view mirror of a car and did not even stop to address it. There were a few facts that he clearly did not have right. We chose to abort the tour half way through it....

Our guide Ian was awesome. He took us to many spots where rock legends lived of hung out. We went to Royal Albert Hall which is truely awesome. Yes we went to Abbey Road and saw the studio which was a bit meh. The crossing is excellent no doubt but you will be there with hundreds of others. What dampened the tour was the traffic. It was just so heavy and we really didn't get that far in the 3 hours. Not sure I can recommend.

I read the reviews and they said the tour wasn’t excellent but the guides were great. Ugh! Don’t waste your money. I read the reviews and they said the tour wasn’t excellent but the guides were great. Not the case in our situation. Don’t even know our tour guide’s name, he never gave it to us. He went by the places, told is what they were, but gave us no stories or context. Dropped us at Abbey Road and told us he would be back in 25 minute as he was going to go get juice. He left us there in the rain. He couldn’t even remember where he was taking us, he had to look for the street address on his map. My husband said “it is like he showed up for work and someone told him he was doing the Beatles Tour and he thought ‘oh crap, I haven’t done that one in the last 18 months.’ “. We were not the only guests who were disappointed. A group on the bus were so disappointed they wanted to get off and take the tube home but he wouldn’t let them. We had some good laughs though, not the type we expected.

Our first full day in London and we were excited to go on this tour. We booked an Uber to the site. He dropped us off and said that we were there, 15 minutes early. We waited. Nothing happened. Unknown to us, the Uber driver had dropped us around the corner. Our tour meet and left without out us. THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT US TO SEE IF WE WERE COMING OR THERE WAS A PROBLEM. We went on several other tours in London. Each other tour operator made an attempt to contact people who were no shows.

We felt it very poor that no attempt was made to contact us. As for the tour itself, we can't speak to that. We did not make it.

So, if you are going on this tour, make sure that you are in the right spot, because they will leave you with NO issues and will not apologize for it.

This is a great tour for anyone interested in the history of UK rock and pop music history. The meeting point was a little hard to find as major road work was happening in the area. Allow yourself plenty of time to find it. We did the afternoon tour and our host was Lee who not only drove the minibus but provided non stop commentary and anecdotes as well as playing plenty of relevant music. Lee took us past many residences of music icons like Freddie Mercury, Robie Williams, Jimmy Hendrix etc. We called in at Bill Wymans restaurant and stopped at Abbey Road. Thanks to Lee for taking the photos of my wife and I on the famous crossing. This was an afternoon of much humour and merriment thanks to the way Lee conducted the whole tour. We have been to London several times and this is the best tour we have ever done. Top Marks. Do yourself a favour.....

Tim could not have been more enthusiastic about all the London Rock and Roll history! You would have thought we were his first group ever. Have been telling everyone.
