A very fun and informative tour about a part of London that does not get the attention it needs and deserves. It lasted for about 2 hours but it felt as if only 20 minutes have passed! Our guide Kia ( Kya? Kea?) did his job exceptionally well; one could see and feel that he loves, yes even lives, street... More

This is a fantastic, interesting, informative, insightful, thought-provoking and definitely alternative way to see and gain insight in to what must be one of the most diverse and continually evolving areas of London. Our extremely knowledgable guide, Doug, ensured the tour lived up to its name and gave a great deal of background and interesting history of the area, as... More

I am a Londoner and finally got around to experiencing some more of my city :) So happy to have been part of this guided mini adventure! Doug kept it fresh showing genuine enthusiasm for the artists he taught us about and the passion behind the what, why and when... Shoreditch certainly has a full spectrum of the weird and... More

I am living in London for the last two years, living around brick lane. Whenever I have friends visiting I always do this tour (I did it already 3 times) and I must say it is a really nice tour to attend. It gives you a great overview about this amazing area, the history and of course, the street art.

As other reviewers have highlighted, this really is such a great way to see a part of London that has so much to offer, but is rarely featured in guide books or the 'top attractions'. We did the Walking Tour led by Josh, really opened our eyes to a whole new world of art and loved his enthusiasm which (eventually!)... More

You know you want to do something out-of-the-ordinary, off the usual tourist track, that will open your eyes to the unexpected. This is it. Don't waste another moment pushing through crowds at Westminster to see stuffy memorials. See what really makes this city special. Best 3.5 hours of my life (cycling tour). Opened my eyes to a new world and... More

Go on this tour. You won't regret it. Our guide, Ben, was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The two hours flew by! I'm now searching out street art on my home turf and seeing new things on streets I walk down every day. Brilliant.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
