I really wanted a non 'cookie cutter' tour and the Alternative London walking tour was great! It showed such a different side of London and gave a good mix of info about the artist work but also history. The tour group size was also good, there were maybe 15 of us, not too big and you could always hear the... More

Merci beaucoup à Lily, our French street artist guide share her knowledge on street art in Brick Lane. We were small group, tour all in French with historic, cultural and street art. Lily even took us to a art gallery! Amazing! My parents of 70 really enjoy the tour, so recommended for all ages!

This was a fantastic way to discover London from a different perspective. Our guide , Keir, was very knowledgeable about the history of the East end and he delivered with a good hint of humour. His talks not only focused on the art, but also on the story of the buildings on which the artists chose to express their creativity.... More

We took this tour with the whole family. Everyone loved it! Jeremy our guide was very knowledgeable about the different artists being a street artist himself. We had perfect weather and ended the tour at their workshop where you get to do some street art yourself and take it home... Awesome!!

The London Eye is a must for any visitor to London. Also the Tower of London is extremely historic and very interesting. If your schedule permits then the London history museum and London Bridge along with Big Ben are worth a look. These are just a few places of interest in London and there is so much more!

Really good walking tour, a great way to see the area and lots of fantastic street art. Lilly our guide was great, she explained both the history of the area and how the different art techniques for the street art were achieved, so it made a very interesting tour. The tour was officially 1hour 45 mins but at the end... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
