More than just the theatres - loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Some a little more unique than others! Each theatre you walk past is interesting and has its own distinct architectural features.

Love the West End and it is always busy. However the Christmas lights were beautiful. Lots of different shows, something to suit all tastes.

The West End Theatre District is an interesting part of London apart from the theatres as it also has a variety of very good restaurants and it is also a great place, like most of London just to walk around..

Must see area for anyone interested in theater. First-run shows, great restaurants, good opportunity for people watching and just enjoying an evening at a cafe.

We have seen 2 plays here- they have both been amazing. The production and talent is top notch. Rivals Broadway for best live Musical experience!

This part of London obviously has an extensive choice of theatres to choose from, but also has some great food & drinking joints. Cool place to visit, especially at night

This show is by the RSC at the Cambridge theatre and is a must for people of all ages. The cast is superb especially the children and the scenery is modern and very clever. All in all a show not to be missed.

A huge variety of shows - drama to comedy to musical and more. I saw a drama that was disturbing but excellent. The theater was a little old and steep, but once in our seats, it was a great view!

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
