We saw Matilda, Mamma Mia, and Mary Poppins all in the same trip to London with two 9 year olds. Plenty of same day tickets and great seats. Prices were easity HALF of what we'd pay in NY and we were in the first 10 rows for all. Each theater was unique and beutiful and the staff at each was lovely. After every show we were able to go to dinner at 10 or 10:30pm right in the area. It was all amazing.

The West End area of London is also the main entertainment district for the city. It emcompasses Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Picadilly Circus, Soho, Chinatown, Regents Street and Oxford Street.

It is normally quite busy and I would recommend exploring the West End on foot so you can take in the many sights.

It's also quite beautiful at night, I've enjoyed many wanders around Leicester Square in the evening and as it is quite busy it is fairly safe but make sure you are sensible.

Enjoy!

I visited on 21/09/20, the 2nd Anniversary of the memorial plaque to David Cassidy, along with visits to the Phoenix Garden where David has a second plaque on the wishing wall, "I only Wanna make you happy" in addition to Dreams, wishes and Happy trails plaque, a visit also, to St Giles in the Fields Church, who hold a memorial book you can sign, in memory of David Cassidy and where candles are lit in his memory, twice a year with a memorial table display in remembrance.

A Tranquil setting off of the busy Charing Cross Road,

The Theatre, Church and the Garden, each have their own Unique History, to uncover.

New musical and now one of my favourites. From start to finish, if I could give this 10 stars I would. The music the dancing the stage and the choreographer was second to done. I’ve never seen a standing ovation from everyone in the theatre . Well done to everyone involved in the making of a wonderful story.
