Address
Neighborhood: St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
How to get there
- Green Park • 4 min walk
- Piccadilly Circus • 7 min walk

Had a great blind tasting evening at JJFox London.
The staff were very knowledgeable and the paring with with rum was perfect. Even got to meet Rob Fox the current owner who took over from his father. A real gentleman and very down to earth.
The history of JJFox is amazing and the selection of cigars is awesome.
Will definitely do another blind tasting evening!!

I was so happy to be able to visit multiple times while I was in London. I really appreciated the staff's help and hospitality in the lounge was exceptional. I really appreciated the camaraderie in the lounge with the other visitors. This is a great respite during a visit to the city.

It’s always a pleasure coming into this cigar store. The staff is personable, knowledgable, and friendly. And I say this without reservation: it is the only cigar store in the world, in my 33 years of cigar smoking, that has the cigars properly humidified. It seems like every place I buy cigars anywhere in the world, they are dry. Not so with Fox. Keep up the good work!

I ordered cigars from their website online. So that they would be delivered to the Middle east. They informed me it would take 5-6 days to arrive. They claim to be an amazing establishment, and they ship where i can only track inside the UK, even though it is being shipped International!! This is all fine. So i wIt 6 days and nothing, i wait 12 days and still nothing. I decide to contact them numerous times, with no answer. After 15 days they answered and informed me that they will need 45 days for the order to arrive, i have literally bought 5 cigars and the flight from here to the UK is 6 hours, how would it need 45 days to arrive!? Ok fine, i accept and wait, 45 days are done i contact them again for the refund and guess what, they didnt reply, after numerous emails again they email back after saying wait more, so that it is 50 days. I told them listen, i want the cigars, ship them via fedex or aramex and ill pay the shipping cost myself. Or refund me now like you told me in the previous email. Still no answer and in particular this website manager Ryan Curtis is so rude and not professional. One of the rudest people i have ever met. Now im currently forming a law suit against them for false information and online fraud.

My family have been customers weekly for three generations and I am sure to say after my visit today it will be my last. After buying a rare Romeo and Juliet cigar from their shop in Selfridges I was looking forward to go and smoke it in their lounge at their St James store. While I usually buy in their St James store, I had a meeting near Selfridges and thought I would pop in (they were helpful) hoping I could just take my cigar into the other store for a normal smoke. However I was greeted with pure arrogance and rudeness. I was told I would have to buy the same cigar from the same shop again to be able to smoke it. I replied well I could put it in the box mix them up and you wouldn’t know the difference ! The Young man with glasses and large ginger sideburns ( I figured was the manger ) looked down his nose at me and said “ sorry that’s the law “ turning his back on me. I don’t know who he thinks he is but no ones that important! He may know a lot about cigars but he’s going to push a lot of business away ! I have made the conscious decision to switch to Davidoff in which I popped in after and with a larger selection of premium cigars I’ll be sure to spend more there and I encourage anyone else to do so rather than ask their driver or taxi to stop by such a stuck up place !!

I visited Robert Lewis in hopes of obtaining a certain Peterson Pipe (many were on their website). Peterson makes a moderately priced, but quite nice pipe. The three staff in the shop seemed astonished (even aghast) that I even asked for a Peterson. They looked at each other, said they never carried them, and suggested Harrods. I was left with the impression that they couldn't care less about selling their wares.

Smoking a good Cuban cigar in the upstairs lounge at James J Fox while sitting in a leather armchair gazing down at the pedestrian traffic on St James Street is about relaxing and feeling the history and tradition of the area seep in to your soul.I absolutely loved the experience of spending two hours here , first selecting just the right smoke from the walk in humidor and then kicking back upstairs to enjoy.
For cigar lovers this is a must while in London !

Great to go in browse around the humidor and purchase a few cigars from where Churchill used to get most of his. Particularly after the war rooms tour. Left the rest of family to tour around and had a smoke upstairs. A nice gentleman clerk lit my cigar for me. Packaged the extras nicely. They have a small Churchill walk around tour book you can buy also.

I went here with my friend in a Wheelchair to JJ Fox in Harrods Store, Staff Man who said he is from Scarborough was very arrogant talking to my friend like nothing, are you coming in or not, he then said you got to share a table my friend in a wheelchair said that is fine, we selected the Cigars got in to smoke room and there was two empty tables, Staff man from Scarborough was trying to put my friend off by saying sharing a table my friend in a wheelchair is polite to everybody, as my friend was smoking his Cigar he asked Staff Man could he turn up the Air Ventilation / Conditioning Staff man Replied it is not Controlled by JJ Fox it is Controlled by Harrods, My Friend in a Wheelchair Normally always goes to JJ FOX in St James Street he always had a good experience there but Staff Man Arrogant at JJ FOX in Harrods, we will not return to JJ FOX in Harrods they suppose to have state of the Art Air Ventilation, They Could Not or would Not Turn up the Ventilation and for that reason no more Visits.

This IS the best cigar shop in the world!
they have a very good variety of cigars, the people who work there are masters of Habanas. when I asked them to describe the cigars they knew exactly what they were telling me and they have great knowledge.
Downstairs is a small museum where you can find Sir Winston Churchill's chair, his old cigars and lots of old cigars, letters, boxes and other things.
They have a wonderful cigar lounge upstairs where you can enjoy your cigar in a very comfortable setting, there is coffee and some cold water that you can enjoy for free.
I highly, highly recommend this shop to any aficionado.
