I booked two tickets for the comedy carnival for my boyfriend for Christmas via red-letter day experiences. Was very easy to book and then to book the specific date nearer the time. Would recommend getting to Bar Rumba early to get good seats as the seats nearer the back aren't raised, so may have been harder to see. We were... More

Purchased 2 tickets from Groupon for a very reasonable price and thought we'd give it a go. Booked for last Friday, and I've gotta say it was absolutely fantastic. Lovely little venue at Bar Rumba, 2 mins from Piccadilly Circus tube, which had a bar and after the show they clear the tables and you can party! The host was... More

First time at a comedy gig and it did not disappoint! Good venue with some real quality acts. The compare was quality throughout the night and the bar was really good with suitable breaks for drinks and time to chat to friends. Would not hesitate to book again...would definitely recommend for a fantastic evening out!!

Really enjoyed Comedy Carnival. Cheap happy hour drinks before and after the show, great acts and an amazing compare. The venue was good for a comedy club and turns into a nightclub after. Recommended

Brought this as a joint birthday present for my partner and my brother. A good night out, good stand up comedy. (Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but it is what it is.) For the price we paid, it exceed our exceptions, so over all very happy. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts just after 8pm. Although seats... More

We had a fantastic night at the comedy show. The host was very funny, followed by the comedians. Big smiles all round and highly recommended for a fun night out. 5 stars

A great evening out in a very accessible location. Seating was rather cramped and drinks expensive. However, we laughed constantly at the 3 acts and compere.

A dark and dingy basement club with closely packed seats. That didn't bother us so much as the sense of humor of one of the comedians !!! It was on the verge of being downright rude ! The comedian made fun of one of the audience's looks , accent and also made snide remarks of him being too old to... More

Thank you for attending Comedy Carnival Mr. Chachlani. The comedian you refer to, Paul Chowdhry, is a national touring comedian who has made multiple appearances on Live At The Apollo. His performances over the weekend were extremely well received, so your comments are rather surprising. In your follow up email to us, you suggested a long list of topics that... More

I purchased four tickets for friends and I as a stocking filler last Christmas, and we visited last weekend. We made a full day of it and spent the afternoon in Shoreditch, then had dinner in Leicester Sq and went on to the comedy venue. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming and showed us to the seating... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
