The tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide gave us the history of France, knew all the details of every part of the French countryside on the way to Normandy. He knew all the details of the D day invasion and many interesting details of the French Resistance and how they participated in the battle. He gave a clear narrative of... More

Jonathan was excellent, even though it was drizzling rain, we did so much in such short time. Italian not perfect but he is so full of information even for me (being English). We were very satisfied especially my newphew and wife who were from Italy.

Completely wonderful. We weren't sure what we wanted to do and they made suggestions, which were great. Our driver, Sam was an absolute delight. We took him to lunch with us both times, which was wonderful. Little out of the way pubs, with great food. Never would have seen what we did without Sam and this great company

Courteous Intelligent Tour Guide ANTHONY MARANGOS above our expectations. After three days in London WALKING and riding the Hop on Hop off Bus the trip to Bath was worth every cent. We never would have seen the beautiful countryside in this manner!

Just finished a seven-hour guided tour of London with British Tours guide Sam Carter at the helm. The excellent services of Mr. Carter far exceeded my expectations, which were quite high to start with. Sam is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour he gave. His historical facts and anecdotes are informative and humorous, and thus easy to retain.... More

After a day of Big Bus and frustration; and not looking forward to Tude/bus and train transfers for 5 more days, I asked the concierge for a recommendation and he suggested British Tours. We planned for only one day's tour to the Cotswols; but ended up relying on(trusting) Harri for four days. Each day started promptly at 0900 and ended... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
