Perfect for Chilling
Jun 2019
Perfect for chilling, grabbing a bite or gazing to the street performers. Many people walking around, but still brings out some calmness in the hectic life of london.

Gorgeous during Christmas.

This lovely little market in Covent Garden is even more charming during Christmas, when it is gorgeously decorated and stunningly lit.

The stalls at this market in Covent garden feature many handmade, unique gifts. Found some lovely handmade soaps and really unique silver spoon rings to buy as gifts for friends.

Interesting but generally over-priced
Dec 2019 • Solo
This market specialises in crafts, collectibles and antiques. There’s always an interesting selection of goods on display, though the market is quite small with a limited number of stalls. The issue is the pricing, which reflects the reality that the market is located in the heart of one of London’s most popular tourist destinations. You’ll be very lucky if you find a bargain here, but it’s fun to look round and you might just find the perfect gift for someone. A word of warning: this is a pickpocket’s paradise, so please be extra careful with handbags, wallets and phones!

Lovely stalls, in Covent Garden
Dec 2019
Always come here when in London. Nicley decorated for the festive season. Nice stalls, many selling hand made goods, such as hats, jewelry, and lots at reasonable prices, and differing quality, so be careful.

An interesting place within Covent Garden.
Nov 2019
I visited this place early November with my partner and daughter. I did buy anything but found it an interesting place to look around as there were many different stalls. It's well worth a visit especially near Christmas and when the street entertainers are performing.

Over-priced arts ,crafts and jewellery!
Jun 2019
After spending the day shopping and sight-seeing around London’s West End we eventually found ourselves at Covent Garden. We had been there a couple of times before during previous stays in London and therefore knew what to expect.
Our first “port of call” here was the Apple Market. Previous experience here told us to expect an interesting variety of over-priced arts, crafts and jewellery. Little had changed since the last time that we were here, two years before. There was a mixed standard of merchandise on offer for sale. Some of the artwork, crafts and jewellery was of a very good quality whilst some of it was of a very ordinary quality.
The common denominator amongst the goods on offer was that they were all over-priced. It appears that the vendors think that because Covent Garden attracts so many visitors that they can charge exorbitant prices for their merchandise. While we were in the Apple Market, surprisingly some of the vendors seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than attempting to make sales. Perhaps they been having a good day and had already made enough money from their day’s trading.
Having now visited the Apple Market several times, we really feel no need to go there again. Instead if we happen to visit Covent Garden again, we will concentrate our shopping activities in the main market area!
