Maida Vale is an area in London. The main road that runs though the area is the A5 from Marble Arch ultimately to North Wales. The road is named Maida Vale as it goes through the area and then becomes Kilburn High Road as it enters Kilburn. There are two Tube stations in the area - Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue, both on the Bakerloo Line. Walking through Maida Vale there are a huge number of flats, many in very fancy buildings. The Regents Canal also goes through Maida Vale to Little Venice which is nice to walk beside.

I stayed on Randolph Ave, for a week. The neighbourhood is less busy with Less noise. It is a 11 minutes’ walk from St Johns Wood station. Maida Vale is a safe place & it is residential in nature. Maida Vale is located in the Borough of Westminster, Zone 2 with a postcode is W9. The two main pull factors of Maida Vale are the location and the canal. Maida Vale is charming and understated. Pictures are deceiving!!! I booked this property based on the pictures. The pictures do not show the terrible place and location of this property. I was never allowed to see the cleanliness of the room or bed and bathroom linens, or the kitchenette. I asked two groups of guests what the place was like and they had issues with insects (possibly cockroaches), broken furniture, ripped wall paper, and stained sheets. They were also deceived by the pictures. The access to the hotel (lobby?) is dirty and dark, very unpleasant. I walked out to survey the neighborhood. The area is unsafe and dirty, a loud, open bar is across the street, bringing a lot of little street groups hanging out in corners. I saw homeless people on the same block. A garbage bin in the receiving area of the hotel. The walk to the subway is long and extremely dark with walls full of grafitti. If you want a pleasant stay in London, this is a place you want to avoid.
