Good Sunday night guaranteed!! This is such an authentic pub full of adventure. The staff are amazing. A welcoming smile from Kevin at front door. Great service from Elenor (she was so quick and read our minds when we wanted “feeding!”)Jade also made sure we had all we need. Great food! The chicken you kind were so fresh and the vegan burger also very tasty (from a no -vegan eater) Real HONEST staff reminded us of government rules but how to get a waxys experience! Live music was amazing!!! Will be back for sure!!!!

First up, went to Waxy's for lovely Irish coffee with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. Gerry served us and made us feel really welcome and the coffee was delicious. I also saw that they were doing a Superbowl event on the night of the big final. Booked it no problem on line and sure enough when I arrived (directly after a long work shift) I was checked off the list and got my tags for my beer and food (one portion/glass) and Gerry was there again that night. And the night went very well too. Gerry stopped for a chat about the game. I supported the Kansas Chiefs and... they won! A great night! Thanks Gerry and all the team. céad míle fáilte as we Irish say. Grand so!

This hidden gem sits right off the busy section of Piccadilly Circus. Huge bar inside with great service. If you're lucky, you'll meet a bartender by the name of Veronica. She's Italian and just the sweetest thing. She was helpful with tourist information and a good conversation. Waxxy's is lucky to have her.

The 2 stars aren't so much for the overall bar but adding 5% charge on all payments at a bar feels like sharp practice. It's not obvious to customers that this is being done because buying a bottle of beer for example really doesn't necessitate an extra service charge. For food it's okay but for drinks it feels a bit of a rip off especially with bottles of lager or cider which don't take any effort to serve up. Great bar in so many other ways but transferring responsibility for staff costs onto customers which is what this kind of service charge thing is all about just doesn't sit well.

Had been here before and was a nice setting to come to for the unique interiors and average priced drinks, but last time I went the security guard here was rude, callous and sharp.
I was told to take out the contents of my two heavy backpacks (having come straight from work), which fair enough you're doing your job but then when I sighed and asked if I had to he instantly got angry and told me and my party of 6 that we weren't allowed in. Get better staff who know how to interact with other humans, other reviews support how horrible this guy is.

Shocking place can’t recommend. Guiness was okay and burger and chips was decent. However the young tall Irish barman on Wednesday 6th July was rude and insulting.
Overheard him slagging us off after we had been to bar. Don’t know what his problem is?
Had a sly word in the small barmaids ear on our next visit to the bar upon which we left soon after.
Not a pleasant experience…

This pub is very good,it gets very busy at the weekend but there are many levels to the pub as well as several bars so if you get there early you should find a place to sit with friends and there is great live music at the weekend, the pub also serves good food..

Went here after dinner with friends for a drink. We ended up staying until close because the live music was so good! What a cool place- the interior is beautifully decorated and quite large! Would love to come back to this place some time.

Heard of this place but wasn't fully aware of what an amazing place it is. Don't just stand at the bar at the front venture back into a wonderful, quirky building that just goes on.
Beers was good and the food that people were having looked good, it's a pub that just makes you smile !!

After struggling to find a place to watch the Six Nations with any atmosphere we found Waxy O'Connors. Beautiful building with lots of space over many floors. Screens in all areas for people to enjoy the sport without being wedged in. Nice beer and good food. Would recommend.

Buona sera è possibile cenare in famiglia? Abbiamo due figlie di 10 e 14 anni.

Hi Rosa, I'm afraid not as due to our Premises License we are a strictly 18+ venue at all times.

Hi Kate
I'm afraid we're an 18+ venue at all times so we wouldn't be able to allow her inside as Westminster council are very strict with us about it.
Sorry for any inconvenience!.
