The food mad mediocre. My chicken came out raw. The service was poor. When I asked where our waiter was, another waiter told us he was the manager. He needs to be demoted. Poor customer service. No apology for errors! Never going back!!!

Loved walking around Mayfair however our trip was mainly to visit the Crombie menswear shop to purchase an overcoat that fits. We were helped by the very knowledgeable & patient Morshed Alan. He followed up to advise on the required alterations & kept us informed of the progress. Will definitely be visiting next time we're in London.

If you want to be overwhelmed by how poor your are take a walk around Londona most absurdly excluding borough. It's a vile place really, looks nice I guess but there's nothing there. Just pompous people brimming with privilege.

What one generally hopes, when visiting such an iconic collection of stores, is that the shopping experience would be memorable. What made this shopping district famous was the personal attention, wares representing an astonishment of riches, and for me especially the architecture within and without. Sadly the external architecture remains extraordinary; the internal antiseptic and without emotion. What has happened... More

The neighborhood is full of luxury hotels, expensive restaurants and boutique shops . Remarkable is the architecture of the buildings.

I accompanied a friend to an establishment in Mayfair. The area has many up-market shops. Plenty of restaurants. Some of the side streets are cobbled. it was a cold day when I visited (in June!) but heaters were provided for alfresco dining. Not too busy, easy to walk around and enjoy the shops etc.

A truly refreshing experience in Luxury. Not only was the product amazing and the shop beautiful but the staff were absolutely amazing.... normally shopping in luxury brands can be quite intimidating even for the seasoned shopper, Marc Jacobs on Mount St is a very different experience indeed..... so friendly and warm the staff can not do enough for you and... Most probably one of the most expensiv area in London. If you come from Oxford Street, you will wonder what a difference in the small quiet streets. Nice little parks, and very good restaurants too.

This is a nice mix of prime shopping, restaurants and parks right in the middle of London. Rent a 'Boris Bike' by the hour to ride around.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
