This museum is almost overwhelming. There is so much to see in it that you really need to set aside a few hours to do it properly. It is well set up so that you start at WWI and proceed upward through the museum. And...More

This was a museum I had always wanted to visit. I knew it only by reputation as it’s name appeared in the end credits of that amazing series “World at War”, which had been an icon of my youth for its comprehensive and analytical retelling...More

We were staying at a nearby hotel so found by accident just a short walk away. Amazing displays and very interesting. Lovely to see school children enjoying their visit. Surprised that it was free entry.

We visited this museum with our young children. There are a few activities targeted for children, though fewer than some other museums we have visited. However, the displays more than made up for this. They were really well designed, and captivating, even for our impatient...More

Great Museum if you find WW2 interesting. Don't miss the Holocaust exhibition. This is a free entrance Museum. Probably a half day visit in all honestly. Public transport links nearby.

Hi,the trenches are still there as is the air raid shelter - the ground doesn’t move though. The air raid shelter is now in a themed section following a local families war time experience.

If you want to see all of it, budget about 4+ hours. But you can finish faster if you are selective about what you see. There are floor plans everywhere, or look at their website, as that can help you plan.
