The bus tour was the first activity we did in London as to orient our daughter to the city. Samantha was great as she put the city in context for her and kept her engaged throughout the tour. Highly recommend - especially with children.

Of 3 drivers, 2, unprovoked, initiated hostility by answering no questions. Otherwise, short, snappy answers. Hostile vibes and actions to us and all others seen. Many uninteresting stops - too many huge, huge old buildings of bureaucrats. Also, absolutely no clarity at all of where/when stops are. Pamphlets obsolete. Some of the audio hookups work, but no announcements of stops... More

We purchased tickets for the Big Bus hop on and hop off tour in London, the bus drivers would stop randomly at green lights, some even texting & others arriving at stops with no passengers getting off or on stopping only to chat to their fellow staff for ages rather than continuing the tour. I would suggest looking at another... More

We purchased a 2 day pass with big bus tours when we arrived and St Pancras station.St Pancras must be affiliated with BB tours as we also purchased Oyster cards to ride the bus and tube. In hindsite after having to use the tube as the hop on hop off service ended early in winter, we would buy a one... More

I love these tours and try one wherever I go and this one is a great way to see some of the iconic places in London. I was on the bus with headphone commentary and found there was more music than narrative, which is a shame as there was lots of buildings and places we drove past that I'd like... More

I have used the London bust tours before but must confess that the "big bus" was probably the best except for some of the guides and audio. Poor audio and poor diction is a bad combination. having had my gripe it is still the only way to see London. The first guide we had from Piccadilly start point was superb.... More

First, it took 30+ minutes to get picked up by the bus but oh don't worry this delay tactic seemed planned as they wee trying to sell entrance tickets. Second, the brochure plaining states wifi on all buses. When I asked the driver how to get on their wifi he (I kid you not) laughed and said we don't have... More

The tour guide we had from London Waterloo up to Buckingham Palace was fantastic; second to none. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all the key tourist sites as well as extra information on the 'hidden treasures'. Unfortunately our opinion of the service rapidly deteriorated after we struggled to find bus stops due to poor signing. One stop (46 on green... More

We bought the two day ticket which was great. With the traffic it was perfect. The guides were fabulous and were always entertaining. Easy to get around. Stops were easy to find. Would definitely recommend !

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
