The buses run quite often, they were not too crowded (February), plenty of seats on the upper deck available. As for the red tour with the live commentary, you need to be a bit lucky. Some guys do their commentary very good, with lots of British humour, others are just average. The ticket includes 3 guided walking tours, but it's... More

I really enjoyed the bus tour, it was approximately 2.5 hours long and allowed me to see a lot of the city right away. This way I was able to return to my fave spots afterwards.

We came to London for Valentine's Day and booked a bus for one day (with a complimentary 24 hours added). On the first morning, we waited over an hour for a bus to come. We wanted to see Buckingham Palace and Changing of the Guard Tour at 10. We finally took the underground to the stop nearest the Palace. It... More

A fantastic trip round London today on Big Bus Tours. The tours were all on time, the gentlemen directing the tours were brilliant and the busses were clean and comfortable. My main positive though, My young daughter managed to leave her favourite bag on one of the busses, a quick phone call and an incredibly kind and helpful lady called... More

I would recommend avoiding this service , went on two occasions-one the bus was circling the same attractions and the second actually did a u turn after encountering roadworks and got stuck on a traffic island some people actually had to push the bus to free it . You'd be better off in a London cab and its cheaper.

We took the hop on hop off Big Bus Tour on our first visit to London. It was an excellent way to get oriented to the city and see the sites. The pass is valid for the entire day and so we decided to take a complete circle first on the bus (about 1.5 -2 hours, depending on traffic) and... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
