I hadn't been to a zoo for years and was not particularly keen, but I went because my grandsons aged 8, 14 and 20 wanted to go. It was actually a really good afternoon, despite the fact that it was cold and raining on and off. All of the boys enjoyed it, but having spent three hours there, the youngest... More

It’s no longer about cages and snoozing animals hidden in the leafy distance – now you can walk through a special enclosure for ring-tailed lemurs and watch them run along ropes right in front of you, or step into a spider enclosure with some of the creepiest crawlies on earth, and you can pass through the Land of the Lions... It is a very big zoo with loads of animals to see, so make sure to go for a full day. We had a lot of fun and my sister even got a chance to help the vet clean the cuts of a wounded lion! It was an amazing experience.

The setting in Regents park for the zoo is idyllic. However, at twenty five pounds, per adult, entrance proved to be expensive. To make matters worse was the request for an extra donation on top of entrance fee. I thought some of the enclosures were too small and restrictive. Some of the animals looked so bored and listless. Quite frankly... More

So I don't visit London Zoo often maybe every couple of years. Went a couple of years ago and left feeling disappointed but decided to go again this week but that feeling hasn't gone! So I'm a big 'tiger lover' in fact any big cats will do. However I went hoping to see the tiger cubs but again I didn't... More

We went to London Zoo so that the younglings could get a little more up close to animals they are used to seeing on the television. Getting to London Zoo is easy and transport links are awesome. Parking is in abundance too. First off, the price point is pretty high for what lurks (or doesn't lurk) inside. The Penguins were... More

Visited London Zoo on 23rd August 2016. Very disappointing day!! It was extremely hot and most of the animals seemed to be hibernating. Lions and one tiger were seen from a distance. Butterfly house was very interesting. Lots of walking to get from one attraction to the next. No elephants! No Rhinos! No Gorilla!! Lunch was mayhem as there were... More

Unfortunately this is not the Zoo I remember visiting 40 years ago that had Hippos, Rhinos, Elephants and a lot more 'wow factor'. Many cages were empty, or the occupants not easily visible due to lighting levels or being obscured by overgrown vegetation and/or man made structures. Areas of the Zoo looked tired, as did the enclosures, but the few... More

Took my daughter here for her 2nd birthday she loved it. The penguins and giraffes were amazing. Massive gift shop nice bits and pieces for everyone. Parking not too bad outside the zoo, just check the weather to make the most of everything.

We took up the offer of 2 for 1 with Southwest Trains. Lots of different animals and talks to see, think it was about £28.10 (Due to the 2 for 1 offer) including a donation, bit cheeky they have that added already as asking for it to be removed made me feel a bit guilty. The restaurant onsite was clean... More
