The food at the zoo is so good now. The experience of the zoo is wonderful. It can be hard to find a table. They should expand the restaurant

Got the train to Victoria on the underground to Regent's park. Took a walk through Regent's pk to the zoo. Ice creams very reasonably priced. Watched the penguin being feed . Keepers very informative. Visited on a very warm sunny day . Some of the animals where in hiding . To be fair there was lots to see and do... More

Some aspects of our day worked well. The fast track admission was well worth the extra outlay. Interactions with staff were excellent. Unfortunately a lack of animals, rather key to a zoo visit, meant that a very long route through the zoo was often passing empty cages. Our 8 year old grandson thought that Colchester Zoo was more exciting -... More

Visited it with my daughter and grandson who's 3 . Very large zoo which took us about 4 hours to walk round . Lots of interactive things to do . Animals seemed very on form and not lazy so that was fun . Didn't think the food and snacks was too expensive. Would certainly visit again but perhaps take a... More

The zoo is huge! We started from the waterbus entrance and that part is much less crowded than the rest of the zoo. We had 3 wonderful hours.

This was a birthday treat and it was fantastic. Accommodation is new and perfectly comfortable but not, as one would perhaps anticipate, plush. The deal is bed dinner and breakfast and three guided walks in the zoo - early evening, 'night', and morning. All are after the day-visitors have left and what a difference that makes! The staff are young... More

Quite a difficult place to get to , we travelled by train but theres still a massive walk to zoo {if you're not 20yrs old!! } considering theres all the underground, walk through regents park and then the zoo and then all over again to go home! Actual zoo was good I thought, easy to walk through and too find... More

Went to London with no fixed plan. Weather good so went to London zoo. It was full of people but it's well laid out and lots to see. As a zoo it was great. Because we just turned up we paid 'full price' - >£100 for three adults and a child. Annoyingly when we got to hotel found a leaflet... More

We are members of ZSL and live near Whipsnade. Our membership entitles us to visit London Zoo as well.' The two zoos are very different, London Zoo is more compact and easier to walk around. There have been steady improvements to the zoo in recent years. This is needed for the animals benefit as well as making the zoo more... More
