The zoo has a great range of animal, birds and insects to see with talks and presentations going on throughout the day. I was impressed at how spotlessly clean the zoo was, and there are loads of benches, picnic and play areas as well. The food was overpriced but you expect that in a London tourist attraction. A good day... More

The facility is older, but that adds to the charm of the zoo experience. So many zoos are spread out, and you don't see many animals. At the ZSL London Zoo, you never go more than a few minutes between animals, who are easily spotted in their enclosures. It was delightful day.

Visited recently on a hot day - fabulous day. Enclosures all wonderful - good sizes and well thought out. Lots of animals too! Some animals were difficult to spot/hard to see/a long way away. But it was a hot day, so I totally don't blame them! It was really nice to see that the animals had the choice to get... More

I also goo to a zoo when I visit somewhere new. This was a huge zoo with lots of sections to explore and quite a few buildings that house animals. I liked walking through the park to get to the zoo. It was a great view along the way.

I went to London Zoo on Friday with my friends for the "Zoo Lates" experience. I had not done this before, but, I was assured by my friends that it was worth the ticket price. I absolutely loved it. Sadly the gorillas were not on show due to the babies, but we saw the giraffes, lions and tigers. There was... More

My wife and I along with our 2 year old daughter visited on Saturday for the 1st time since we got our membership, and we hadn't been London zoo in nearly 20 years and it was our daughters 1st visit. We were both surprised by the improvements that have been made to the zoo in that time and will definitely... More

The animals are very interesting, the food available was nice and I would recommend it to children as well as adults because the animals are simply great to watch.

Difficult to travel to the zoo, expensive entry and hardly any animals actually available to see! Entry would have costed £136 for 4 adults and 3 children had I not had vouchers. Ouch. I spent probably an extra £20 on taxis and tube fares to reach the zoo and was rewarded with seeing 1 lion tail from 20 metres away,... More

We visited London Zoo for the first time in many years, firstly if you don't know where it is it can be difficult to find, we got the tube to Regents Park, from there it's a bus ride away then quite a walk, however you can cut through Regents Park although there is no sign that says 'Zoo this way'.... Visited London Zoo on one of its evening openings. This seems a great idea however due to the animals being "put to bed" by 9.00pm at the latest most were not available to see and it is impossible to get around them all even if they were out. Now I know I will get slaughtered for this but surely the... More
