- CVlincsLincoln, United Kingdom273 contributionsBrilliant place to visit. Something for all ages!We really enjoyed it here. Was not sure what to expect as haven’t visited for many years. We visited just after it opened and it was not too busy which was great. There was something for all our family. We particularly liked the chamber of horrors, the marvel film and the Star Wars section. Well worth a visit and relevant for all ages.Hello there, It is always a pleasure to receive such a glowing review of our attraction, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. - Michele PBendigo, Australia10 contributionsInteresting but not my favourite thingThe wax replicas were very well done. My daughter loved the celebrities, musicians, etc. Enjoyed the cab ride through history. Took the best pictures in Star Wars and Marvel sections. Marvel 4D show was pretty good. Turning up was daunting - 2 really long lines. But we were inside within 10 mins! Didn't see anywhere you could buy tickets at the venue, so glad we bought online in advance.Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble of leaving this review of our attraction. We are delighted you and your daughter had such a great time at our attraction and took a lot of amazing pictures together! It's lovely to read your daughter loved all our stars, and that you had fun watching our Marvel 4D show and going on a journey through history on our iconic Spirit of London ride! We are also glad you didn't have to wait too long to meet the stars - we always do our best to keep our queue lines running quickly and efficiently, even when we're busy! We do have a ticket office on site, which our team members are more than happy to point our guests to if needed, but we always recommend buying tickets online in advance, to secure your preferred timeslot and grab the best deals! Again, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We hope to welcome you and your daughter again in the future! - Freyja B. HaustreisKristiansand, Norway91 contributionsFun for all ages! Recommend a visitWe were a group of five, three adults and two teenagers, ages between 15-67 years and everyone had an amazing time! I have an autistic 16 year old and he had a sensory overloads midway through, so we asked an employee if they had a quiet room he could rest in for a few minutes, and the response was exemplary! They had a quiet room he was able to rest in, they brought him water and the service was just so great. I’m so grateful for their help and how they handled the situation. After ten minutes we were able to continue our journey through the museum and everyone was happy, the staff told us if there was anything we needed we should just let them know. This was a really positive experience. The museum is huge and the Marvel and Star Wars section was our favorites. Absolutely worth a visit!Hello! - radhakrishnan2018Glasgow, United Kingdom40 contributionsHyped expectations and exorbitant entrance fee but great disappointment. This place is supposed to be a must visit for any visitor to London, but was a great disappointment. The entrance is 45 GBP per person which itself is a waste of money. The displays are few and they have removed a number of historically important and famous persons. They have few Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities but nothing else. Only consolation was there was no waiting in the que to enter and there were very few visitors. I am sure the visitor number will go down further unless they improve exhibition and make the entrance fee reasonable especially in this hard times.Hello, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave this review of our attraction. We are glad to read that you did not have to wait to long to get into our After Party. We are however sorry to read that you were unhappy you did not see all the stars you were expecting and that you did not think our attraction was very good value for money. We currently have over 100 figures at our attraction, spread across 6 floors, as well as our Marvel 4D film, Chamber of Horrors, Spirit of London ride, and a number of interactive sets. We are sorry that this was not what you had expected. Our line-up of figures is constantly changing, and we welcome all feedback we can get on the changes that we make, as we seek to reflect the interests of our guests and the wider public. The concept and execution of the museum in itself is really good with fun sections dedicated to certain things. For example marvel characters, royal family, Hollywood stars and Star Wars. And the figures on themselves were really realistic.
However and this is the big but for me you couldn’t see any of it, purely as there were just too many people. You’d bustle about to try catch a glimpse then have to amalgamate around the figure with several other groups to fight over who gets their photo first and you’ve got to be quick as the swarm builds up quickly.
The moment we got there the queues were long suggesting that they’d only let a couple in a time but it was just packed and the second we got in we just wanted to exit as the whole time you were just being pushed around.
So would I recommend this attraction - yes, but not on a busy day as otherwise you’ll see very little of the wax figures that you cane to see.

Good Morning,
We appreciate you taking the time and trouble to share your thoughts as we always consider any feedback that helps us to improve the service we provide for our guests.
It is fabulous to read how much you appreciated the artistic skills that were put into making our figures. It is truly remarkable the amount of work and detail our team put in when creating our wax figures to ensure they look exactly like their counterparts!
Although we can get busy during peak times, we do have a capacity management system in place to ensure we do not allow the attraction to become over crowded. We are very sorry to hear that you felt it was especially crowded when you visited us.
We do hope that you were able to enjoy aspects of your visit and that we can welcome you back to the A-list party in the future!
Kind regards,
Guest Experience Team

This was my first visit to Madame Tussaud’s in London. The 2 for 1 offer came in handy, and the entry process was reasonably smooth.
The displays are of a wide range. Some of the models are very realistic, some were average and a few of them looked quite ‘plasticky’(or waxy I must say). Having said that, the overall experience was very pleasant. The London ‘cab ride’ experience was a very novel and realistic trip down the passage of time. I also quite enjoyed the Marvel 4D experience.
Definitely would recommend a trip for the overseas tourists and visitors - you would not be disappointed.
Please check online and utilise offers and vouchers to bring down the cost of the entry ticket(2 for 1, or multiple attractions bought together).

Dear KD_UK19,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your great feedback on TripAdvisor!
We are delighted that overall you enjoyed your first ever visit to Madame Tussauds London - we hope we lived up to your expectations! We are very pleased to hear that you found many of our figures to be lifelike - each takes 3 to 4 months of hard work to make absolutely perfect so we are glad to hear that the efforts of our artists have been noticed! We are obviously disappointed that you felt that some of our celebrities were less realistic - we do recognise that despite the best efforts of our artists, we do recognise that likeness is subjective. We are happy to hear that you also enjoyed our other immersive experiences that compliment our wax figures, including our Spirit of London taxi ride (closed this year from 27th January until 7th February 2020 for its annual maintenance), and our Marvel 4D cinema experience!
We hope that you will visit us again in the future for more famous fun with the stars!
Kind regards,

We took the chance to visit Madam Tussauds with young children having done so previously as a couple.
The tickets were booked in advance at a mid morning slot and we arrived in advance by recommendation. The queues looked endless and go beyond the building however upon checking with staff were advised to join the one with our allotted time (there looked to be 2 lines for pre booked tickets which cover different time frames and you simply join yours). Our wait was arguably no more than 20 minutes before we arrived at the entrance where the customary photo op awaited. This is unfortunately a reason for why there are delays going in as you are not given the choice to do it or not.
Once you are through this it is walk at your own pace through the different sections.
As mentioned by many people if you visit at a busy time it is pointless as there is not much, if any crowd control so you have to take your chance to get photos (easy to tell which waxworks are unpopular as you’ll easily get a chance with them!).
We did not pay extra to see the Sherlock Holmes section.
The marvel 4d cinema was amazing. Don’t be put off by a large crowd waiting as there is a large seating capacity. Previous to this the marvel section was fun with many interactive booths.
The gift shop at the end was ok , if busy you could be waiting a long time to have things like 3D prints done and staff struggled to cope with demand.
Generally we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would do so again at the right time.

We came here with our 1 year old and 10 year old. It was a great day out for all. It included so many things and I felt it was great value for money. We walked around the museum of celebs, we then got the option of seeing the spooky section (we didn't cause of the kids), then we got a little kart ride along the spirit of London trail, and a 3d cinema experience of how the superheros saved Buckingham Palace.

Good for a rainy day. Waxworks are amazing but I thought it was expensive as only takes about 2 hours to get round. Other things in London I would rather do such as the National history. If your child is a bit scared of the dark and loud noises I wouldn’t recommend as our son cried a lot during the dark areas and when King Kong shouted out! I also felt it was a bit dated. I was shocked there was no little mix! The royal family area is good. Go early! We did and wasn’t too busy even on a Saturday.

Queues to get were very confusing ! When we finally got in it was packed, lots of small rooms with low ceiling and crammed full of people. Wax works were pretty good and my son enjoyed having his photo taken (although you had to queue). The marvel 4d was the best bit. Expensive for what it is and wouldn’t go back.

Dear PinkyDink,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on TripAdvisor. Here at Madame Tussauds London we welcome all feedback as it is vital in our efforts to continue to improve our guest experience.
We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the artistry of our wax figures and that your son enjoyed taking photos with our stars. We are however very sorry to hear that you felt that your visit was negatively impacted by the busyness of the attraction on the day. As Madame Tussauds London is a popular attraction we do operate a strict capacity management system to ensure that the building never becomes overcrowded, but we do recognise that each guest's perception of what a busy attraction looks like differs and we apologise if the attraction was too busy for your liking.
We would love for you to visit us again, so if you would like to discuss ways in which we could improve, please contact us at: guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com.

We really enjoyed it, the visite to sherlock Holmes was really fun, £5 each on top of the visit of the museum itself, really worth it. And regarding the museum itself, great. The kids had fun, and the avengers video in 4D was unexpectedly awesome

Me and my partner visited here on a recent trip to London. We booked in advance, well thats kind of more the sensible thing to do in these covid19 times, we got there tho to a massive queue around the block which we had to join. If i book for a certain time i expect to get in for that time, especially when it was near closing time, we got moved a tiny bit up the queue because we booked, but still felt like booking was pointless really. They seemed to let way to many people come in, especially under the circumstances, i understand times have been hard for these businesses over the past few months, but i think they should of been turning people away who just turned up on the day and did not book in advance. Or not let as many people book in the first place. It was great once in and you got passed all the queues, but first impressions count and we had a very bad one of them!, spoilt it a bit overall for us!.

Good Afternoon,
We appreciate you taking the time and trouble to share your thoughts as we always consider any feedback that helps us to improve the service we provide for our guests.
We're so sorry to hear that you had to wait for your entrance time and we can understand your disappointment because of this. Due to Social Distancing Government we have reduced our capacity due to the current climate. First and foremost the safety of our guests and staff is paramount to us and we have taken steps inside and outside of the attraction to support this. All guests must pre-book before visiting to make sure that timeslots are not over capacity.
However, we're very sorry that you did not feel this on the day of your visit. If you would like to discuss this further, Please do not hesitate to contact us at guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com.

It was definitely worth the money ! Our young daughter needs a wheelchair but when I booked a double ticket it didn’t give me an option which is needed as only so many wheelchair users can be booked in ,anyway all the staff were beyond amazing we had a one to one chaperone a young man I’ve forgotten his name but he’s from bath he was polite and patient.
The guide book is also a must and you get it cheaper if bought with tickets it’s got loads of info and it’s Interacting if you scan certain pages .
The place has small stops where you can get a drink or popcorn all of which were a good price .
The place was clean and some of the figures were that real you genuinely expected them to start walking lol .
Now I few important things book don’t show up as the lines are stupid also try book for the first slot and even then get there early .
Taxi rank is right outside as well as bus stops
If you don’t like busy places this isn’t for you as some parts get stupid to the point you can’t move which isn’t great when trying to read and take pictures.
Apart from that it’s a must thing to do

We visited here as part of a Christmas gift from my sister for our trip to London, she purchased us a Tea with the Queen package. It was a fun experience and my kids notes they were impressed with how much there was to see and so. Highly recommend doing the High Tea with the Queen experience as the food was very good and you can’t access the garden location with the Queen unless you eat at the restaurant.
Also there was a little side add on for a Sherlock Holmes mystery, we really enjoyed it but it was a little scary for my nine year old...she toughed it out but hid behind me a few times.
Overall it was a great experience! Allow yourself time to explore so you don’t miss anything!

Dear 235abbeyh,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your lovely feedback on TripAdvisor!
We're so glad that overall you enjoyed your visit with us, and that your family felt that there was lots to see and do! Here at Madame Tussauds London we strive to appeal to guests of all ages and interests by offering not just an amazing range of wax figures, but also a range of immersive experiences, such as our Spirit of London taxi ride. We're glad that your nine year old managed to brave our Sherlock Holmes Experience - we do recommend that the experience is appropriate for guests aged eight and over, but we do recognise that all guests are different, and what's fun for one guest may be scary for another!
We do hope that you'll visit us again in the future for more world-famous fun!
Kind regards,
Kirsten - Guest Experience Team, Madame Tussauds London

Good evening all,
Just wondered if there’s somewhere we can leave our luggage as we will be coming straight from the train and will have a couple of small cases. Thanks.

I don’t think there is. Bags are searched on the way in though and anything considered not ok ( we’d just bought a drone from Hamley’s that was considered contraband) gets taken and stored by the security team to be collected at the end of your visit. There’s a ride in the middle of the exhibition where any bags need to be stowed between your legs, the smaller the better I guess, we had rucksacks and were fine

Planning to visit in August, appreciate it will be busy, but what's the quietest time of day to visit? Was thinking more towards the end of the day?

Madame Tussauds does get busy most of the day but why don't you email them and see if they have any quiet times available?

Acquistando il biglietto online con un orario prefissato c’è comunque da fare la fila? Non capisco bene che differenza c’è con il biglietto fast track? Qualcuno mi sa aiutare? Grazieeeee

Sorry I don’t speak Italian but if o read your question correctly you’re asking if fast track is any good and is it worth it…. If this is the case. Yes it definitely is the queues are really long most of the time and you can wait for a long time. We walked straight in and early that out booked time which was great
