I took my 10 year old son on a river boat and it was a lovely experience. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the bridges and the buildings lining the Thames. Our tour guide was called Josh and he was funny and entertaining with good knowledge of the area.

A good way to see an overview of some of londons architecture. Great for all ages as they will enjoy the view too (you can sit on deck even with young children, or you can sit inside to avoid the weather).

This is a fun way to see the city from a very different perspective! The boat is enclosed but has an upper open sitting area. The day we went was very cold, so we appreciated the enclosed portion! There is a snack bar on it so you can get an adult beverage or a warm drink as well as different... More

My husband and I done this evening cruise and enjoyed it. It was s shame it was raining slightly but the boat was warm and comfortable. The canapés that came round were nice and the bar stocked a wide selection of drinks. There was a guy playing jazz music which was an added bonus and London looked colourful at night.... More

The boats come in every 40 minutes, so take the time to check before you head to the pier. We watched one unfortunate couple arrive mere seconds after we had headed out, and knew they were doomed to wait the full 40 minutes for the next boat. It was a cold and rainy day so their wait would be most... More

Great way to see the sights. Very cold so make sure you wrap up warm. Good fun pointing out the sights to family. Very interesting seeing the shoreside & seeing London from a different vantage point. Recommend

The River Thames. Once a busy waterway for Barges and Ships from destinations near and afar. Now sadly under used . Fast flowing and tidal the water-level drops dramatically at low tide and fills to almost overflowing when at full ebb. A trip on this historical river is a must for the traveller with an interest in history..I would recomend boarding... More

We took a river boat from the Westminster dock to Greenwich and back. Our pilot gave us a very interesting live narration as we went up the river. He provided so much information that I spent my trip looking from one building to the next trying to keep up while capturing great photographs. If you are at all fascinated with... More

Tour guide was very informative about buildings on the riverbank. You do get a breeze so bring warm clothes, even on a warm day.
