Small park that you walk through on your way from the DLR station if you want to see the Thames Barrier. Nothing special really and major construction right next to it.

We used to enjoy taking our children here. Like many others, we'd park at the dedicated car park, then stroll around, perhaps finishing with a treat at the cafe. Last year the car park was permanently closed, to be redeveloped into one of the many...More

This used to be a very pleasant park and a well kept secret beside the River Thames. Unfortunately when we tried to get there yesterday with the grand-children we were appalled to find that it is now cut off by numerous new buildings and much...More

Decided to travel out to see the Thames barrier and its park. A short walk from the DLR. The gardens appear to have been neglected, all shrubs require some attention including hedging. Something to note the cafe and toilets are closed until the end of...More

We popped along to see the Thames Barrier, quite different in the flesh than what is seen on tv. The park is very small with topiary yew to represent waves. Then there is open grass and the view of the barrier. This is due to...More

First of all, this listing is confusing. The Thames Barrier Park is on the north shore of the river, in Silvertown near London City Airport. The Pontoon Dock DLR station is right next to it. It's a pretty park with some innovative shrubbery design, and...More

I’m afraid I don’t know. There is no one to tell you not to but I don’t really think I would call it a place where I would have one to be honest.
