Doing this small bus tour was well worth the money. Andy was our fabulous driver and thanks to him we heard so much English history on our journey. In fact his knowledge was so vast we encourage him to go on 'The Chase'. The small bus and tour group allowed us to chat and and ask Andy questions along the... More

We can't imagine there would be a better way to see Bath and Stonehenge. This tour was amazing from start to finish. Everything operated like Swiss clockwork and we had plenty of time to tour each stop at our own pace. Outside of the tour itself, we have to give ****** (6 stars) to our guide Colin. His knowledge of... More

We had such a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide Colin was knowledgeable and funny. He related easily with all the guests on the tour. I would recommend the English Bus Tour over others when traveling to the UK.

I took two separate tours with The English Bus - to Stonehenge, Bath, Secret Place, and then to Oxford, Stratford, Cotswolds. Both were terrific and the sites were interesting. I had different driver/guides for each tour and both were funny and knowledgeable. The smaller bus size means you can easily be close to the guide and hear what they are... More

Our guide was HILARIOUS! I don't know if it was because there were only adults on board, but this guy killed it! We still laugh about his hatred for Benedict Cumberbatch! Great trip to bath and Stonehenge! The secret place was neat. Stonehenge definitely stole the show! Must do! A friend of mine had a horrible experience with Premium Tours... More

This trip was great. The Bath city was excellent and so was Stonehenge. I would recommend avoiding the one with Salisbury Castle because I would have liked to spend more time in bath, but it was still great.

Hi Salvatore, Many thanks for your review. I'm really glad you hear that your trip was great although we are a little confused as there is no such thing as Salisbury castle - perhaps you are getting muddled with Salisbury Cathedral and Windsor Castle - neither of which we visit on any of our tours. Either way we are happy... More

I booked this tour based on reviews online. I like to be prepared and not waste alot of time wondering what to do when we travel.. so had this prebooked for the second day of our week long vacation to London. So glad we did. The tour itself does not hold a large quanity of people (16 I believe) so... More

Hi Awesomegal! Thank you so much for your detailed review - we are delighted you had such a great day out with us and Andy. I'm sorry for the attitude of the staff member at Stonehenge - I shall pass this on to the head office of English Heritage - they should have trusted you and let you in, especially... More

Took the tour with my husband and daughters, aged 14 and 17. We all had a wonderful time. Andrew, our guide/driver, was both knowledgeable and funny. The bus was new, clean and comfortable. Loved the "secret place". So glad we took the tour rather than venturing out on our own. I highly recommend the English Bus!

I was traveling with my husband and my two sons, ages 15 and 12. Our guide was Johny. He was great! I loved his combination of history and stories and comedy throughout the day. He was very entertaining and was always willing to answer questions. It was great to have a small group of only 16 people on the tour.... More

Had booked this before I left the states and I'm so glad I did. Brand-new, comfortable mini-bus. Guide/driver, Andy was interesting and informative. The bottled water and tea cakes were a nice surprise. Bath and Stonehenge were magnificent and just enough time was given at each. Want to know what the secret place is? I'm not telling... but it was... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
