Free tour of London with Ellie

We booked the tour and even though we were already quite familiar with London, we absolutely LOVED the tour.

Our guide Ellie was AMAZING, my mum especially loved her for the fact the she spoke English slowly and clearly , besides that she was really informative and full of fun facts about the sights we saw on the tour.

She really adapted the tour to the group and we simply couldn't get enough. She was ready to answer all of our questions, which resulted in the tour being quite longer than expected - but none of us wanted it to end!

I learned a lot about the history of England and London and discovered lots of different places I never knew about!

We loved the tour so much that we immediately booked another Sandeman tour of the City of London!

This walking tour was so fun and so worth the time. My girlfriend and I booked this tour with Ivo as our guide and he did such a good job that we decided to attend a second walking tour with him as our guide through a different part of the city. I highly recommend both the walking tours through the City of Westminster and the City of London. Thank you Ivo!

London Free Tour with Peter

We booked the tour at the last minute and didn't regret it at all! The tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable and engaged all of us from the start. The tour itself covers many (though not all) of the sights in London and Peter added several interesting stories about the locations. Ends with an optional visit to a pub after the tour for lunch as well. We liked it so much we also booked the Old City tour with Peter, and with the tour tickets we could also purchase discounted tickets for the Tower of London. 10/10 would recommend!

A memorable 3 hour eye-opening experience

This was such a well-prepared and superbly executed experience. Our guide was Jamie and we learned so much. An excellent speaker he focused on his listeners and made every effort to make this a memorable experience.
A knowledgeable, kind and experienced guide. Couldn’t recommend this tour more.

Don’t Book A Free Tour

When I booked my trip to London some months ago, I also booked the 3hr free walking tour around London as we had previously done a paid for tour in Liverpool with the company and it was excellent. I booked the tour via the website for Sunday 25/10/20 at 10:00am and received the email confirmation. The day before on the Saturday I even received a ‘looking forward to seeing you tomorrow’ email. On the Sunday we arrived at the meeting point in advance of the start time of the tour. In short, the tour guide did not turn up! Disappointed by this, I got in touch via the website with the company and I was told that ‘there is no tour at that time on that day’ which is somewhat ridiculous when I had been allowed to book that on the website. So their answer was to apologise and tell me that with the system had made an error allowing me to book it or when their ‘schedule changed’ I wasn’t informed of the time change. Although the tour was free so I haven’t lost anything in money terms, it was still a disappointment to have not been informed as we would have happily made the 11:00am tour or planned our time to see other things rather than waste time on this seemingly non-existent tour.

London in a day: two wonderful tours

We did two walking tours, the one in the morning with Alex and the old town tour with Dominic. Alex was really clear, he explained everything great and made in really enjoyable despite of the cold weather. In the afternoon Dominic guided us throughout the old part of the city. His passion and the mysterious way he taught us everything made the tour seem shorter. We discovered places that are not on the internet. Both recomended!!

Brilliant Free Walking Tour of London

Our guide Charlotte (from Kaukapakapa, NZ) was excellent! Although it ended up being a cold and rainy day, Charlotte’s passion and enthusiasm as a guide shone through. Her knowledge of London, it’s landmarks and history behind the places we visited was second to none. It was a really insightful, engaging walk with fun & factual stories thrown in, a great way to learn more about London in a relatively short amount of time (2.5 to 3 hours). Would highly recommend this tour!

Free Walking Tour London

I took the walking tour on the next day of my arrival in 2018 (I had previously stayed in London for 2 months). I loved every single bit of it. The sites that are covered in the tour are all must-sees. The guide, Robert, was very charismatic -in fact, he was also an actor. I learnt lots of stuff and fun facts that took place in the most iconic buildings in London. When people ask me for tips to visit London, I tell them this is the first must (as it gives you an overall picture of the city).

Arrived in London and saw a poster for a free tour so I decided to give it a try, had nothing to lose after all. Peter was an amazing tour guide! Very informative and open to all questions! The other tours they offer are such good prices and you can also buy discounted tickets to other attractions through this company. The free tour the guide is working for tips so be sure to bring some cash.

Ivo did a great job, explained all interesting facts which we slowly cross, anwsered each question sometimes with fun/patient/...really to recomment!
Finally so far I still remember included the same items like11years ago.
Expect tour company still gets the same amount p.p. 2,5Bucks...so far the tipbased free trip should give more than that..
