I used to love underworld however the security staff last night when attending the emo night were incredibly rude and judgmental. A friend of mine has a hidden disability but was not wearing her lanyard, she thought you needed a covid pass to get into the venue and was looking on her phone for it, she didn’t hear what the man on the door said so he refused her entry for being “too drunk” which she wasn’t. I spoke to the security manager who was completely unwilling to listen and even walked away mid conversation. I understand that security isn’t an easy job and I respect that, at no point did we make an unfair statement, raise our voices or swear, we just tried to explain the situation peacefully and were not given the same level of respect back. We queued for this event in the cold for a period of time just to be turned away by the security on a power trip. Underworld you need to do better, would definitely avoid the club nights if you’ve got a hidden disability and you don’t want to be unfairly labelled.

I've been a frequent visitor to this iconic venue over many years. Mostly to see some of the best Rock bands on this planet!! Agreed, it doesn't possess the swanky decor, or trendy drinks associated with other bars in the area, but that's the whole point!! It's a great "get down and dirty" dark and atmospheric bar, perfect setting for a live band. The bar staff and security guys are great at their job, and thankfully have a sense of humour, something sadly lacking in many other London venues. It's a perfect venue to meet up with friends and have a few bevvies, or catch a band. If you want an authentic Rock Bar, this is It!!

A great little venue close to Camden Town where rock royalty have played. Holding around 500 people, this is the place to see bands up close and personal. Having gotten used to paying exorbitant ticket prices at arenas where the sole aim appears to be distancing fans from their idols... this is the complete opposite. Even standing at the back of the room is like being in an arena front row. Having watched UK rockers 'Collateral' then PhilX (lead guitarist for Bon Jovi) & The Drills play a near two hour set for the tidy price of £16 is awesome. Staff are awesome and beer prices are typical for most venues. Great venue and will return soon.

Way too expensive. If you have to pay that much (almost 6 pounds for a cider) you can at least get toilet seats and get your toilets cleaned. We were standing in piss, there was no toilet paper and only 2 toilets had a toilet seat.

I bought 2 tickets for me and my best friend to see Okilly Dokilly. I got to the venue before her so I tried to find out where she was. She accidentally took the wrong bus and suffered a panic attack. She has Asperger syndrome. I told her to take her him as the band wasn’t on yet, I didn’t realise how bad of a state she was in. Took another hour for her to get to the venue. Get her to the entrance. Ok she didn’t took with at the time and the manager took one look at her and said can’t come in. I said she’s just not feeling well after a panic attack and she’ll be fine. They made us wait another 15mins. Still refused to let her and told her to get something to eat. She had eaten. They were implying she was intoxicated. She doesn’t drink often. Matters got worse cos she was getting upset. Someone else came out to look at her and said the same. The manager spoke with us and was rude to us. He told me to shut up, which shouldn’t have had to say sorry for. We missed 20mins of Okilly Dokillys set and said that’s all we came to see and they were just messing us around making my friend wait. I still managed to see the band but I couldn’t enjoy it without her.

My friend has mental health issues but seeing live music really helps and she is a musician herself and been in many bands.

I think Underworld needs a redNeducation

Pretty cool place if you like rock and heavy metal music. It takes ages to order your beer at the bar though plus it's a bit pricey, nearly 6 pounds for a beer, come on , this is Camden town guys...

This wasn't my first time here & won't be my last. Probably my absolute favourite gig venue! Seen so many great bands here and never had a bad experience, bar staff are brilliant & never had any issues with the door team. Also has the equally awesome Worlds End pub upstairs, what more can you ask for 😉

Got kicked out after being accused of having taken drugs (which I am very against) and was spoken to in a disgusting manner. They need to assess who they employ - clearly not fit for the job. Does not even get a rating (even though I had to). Will never be going back.

Old school venue. Great atmosphere. Seen many bands here and have never been disappointed.

As in the rest of London be careful of the bar prices!
