1,260 reviews
Immerse yourself in Victorian London on this one-of-a-kind Jack the Ripper experience featuring RIPPER-VISION.™ Unlike other tours, your guide uses handheld projectors to accompany spine-chilling tales of the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1800s. As you explore the dimly lit back streets of Whitechapel, images of Victorian London are projected onto buildings to guarantee a highly atmospheric experience. Plus, an evening departure time means you’ll experience London at its most mysterious.

I've been a frequent visitor to this iconic venue over many years. Mostly to see some of the best Rock bands on this planet!! Agreed, it doesn't possess the swanky decor, or trendy drinks associated with other bars in the area, but that's the whole point!! It's a great "get down and dirty" dark and atmospheric bar, perfect setting for a live band. The bar staff and security guys are great at their job, and thankfully have a sense of humour, something sadly lacking in many other London venues. It's a perfect venue to meet up with friends and have a few bevvies, or catch a band. If you want an authentic Rock Bar, this is It!!

A great little venue close to Camden Town where rock royalty have played. Holding around 500 people, this is the place to see bands up close and personal. Having gotten used to paying exorbitant ticket prices at arenas where the sole aim appears to be distancing fans from their idols... this is the complete opposite. Even standing at the back of the room is like being in an arena front row. Having watched UK rockers 'Collateral' then PhilX (lead guitarist for Bon Jovi) & The Drills play a near two hour set for the tidy price of £16 is awesome. Staff are awesome and beer prices are typical for most venues. Great venue and will return soon.

Way too expensive. If you have to pay that much (almost 6 pounds for a cider) you can at least get toilet seats and get your toilets cleaned. We were standing in piss, there was no toilet paper and only 2 toilets had a toilet seat.

I bought 2 tickets for me and my best friend to see Okilly Dokilly. I got to the venue before her so I tried to find out where she was. She accidentally took the wrong bus and suffered a panic attack. She has Asperger syndrome. I told her to take her him as the band wasn’t on yet, I didn’t realise how bad of a state she was in. Took another hour for her to get to the venue. Get her to the entrance. Ok she didn’t took with at the time and the manager took one look at her and said can’t come in. I said she’s just not feeling well after a panic attack and she’ll be fine. They made us wait another 15mins. Still refused to let her and told her to get something to eat. She had eaten. They were implying she was intoxicated. She doesn’t drink often. Matters got worse cos she was getting upset. Someone else came out to look at her and said the same. The manager spoke with us and was rude to us. He told me to shut up, which shouldn’t have had to say sorry for. We missed 20mins of Okilly Dokillys set and said that’s all we came to see and they were just messing us around making my friend wait. I still managed to see the band but I couldn’t enjoy it without her. My friend has mental health issues but seeing live music really helps and she is a musician herself and been in many bands. I think Underworld needs a redNeducation

Pretty cool place if you like rock and heavy metal music. It takes ages to order your beer at the bar though plus it's a bit pricey, nearly 6 pounds for a beer, come on , this is Camden town guys...
