Fantastic play with stellar cast, enthralling from beginning to end , would go again for sure.
Let down by poorly stocked cafe downstairs and slow service at bar upstairs, need to be more organised

Cinderella theatre visit
Dec 2019 • Family
Went to see this pantomime and realised that at 11, my son was much too old for this. It was a pleasant enough experience but, when you have watched spectacular shows in the West end, a pantomime pales into comparison. Not really a fan but the younger kids seemed to enjoy it, sorry.

The Lyric Hammersmith HATE disabled people
Dec 2019 • Couples
Visited in Dec 2019, and suffered a broken wrist due to dangerous overcrowding and lack of disability access.

We have been attempting to contact the Lyric Hammersmith to make a complaint and offer feedback on how to be disabled accessible for over a month but numerous emails and phone calls have gone completely ignored. They simply never respond to any complaints or feedback ever, despite having both a feedback form and an email address on their website!

Cinderella and the grandchildren
Jan 2020
Good to visit this iconic theatre with two sever critics aged 4 & 7. The bar area is excellent and staff very helpful. The theatre itself is old style music hall, very intimate. The pantomime was Cinderella which was a high energ performance but seemd more aimed at the adults. This did not mean the children didn't enjoy it, but the innuendo was wasted on them and confused them at severl points. It was very politically correct production for those who like those things, including a lesbian wedding scene. The real draw back was the toilets which are 'gender neutral' and therefore quite frightening for children. Finding young girls in an overtly male toilet has potential dangers in all sorts of ways.

Swallowed by burger
Dec 2019
The theater is perfectly located in Hammersmith just near Kings Mall. You can easily use mall's parking if you visiting by car. I was here for Farther Christmas, very creative short performance, my child was attracted and entertained a lot. Prices are also adequate in comparison to other theaters around. Interior of the theater is very good and modern, there is a grills bar with very tasty burgers and chips which you can pre-order together with tickets. Arrive a lot earlier if you wish to eat, even for the pre-ordered food it takes as usual order time to serve it and you cannot redeem it after the performance. I was never eating burger so fast in my life to get in time to the performance, almost swallowed it without chewing.

Overall recommend it!

Excellent facilities.
Oct 2019 • Friends
A real community based facility that many locals use. The actual theatre is great but it’s the connecting facilities that makes it special with many rooms for differing uses.
Good transport links and friendly helpful staff always worth supporting when there’s a new/local production.

Old theatre inside modern shell, needs aircon and better access
Aug 2019
Went to see Noises Off recently. The Lyric is an old theatre re-situated inside a brutalist 70's building. The main auditorium has also been placed on the second floor. The play itself was excellent. The theatre could do with better air-conditioning and better disabled access. But once inside and sat down, a very nice and intimate theatre.

Awesome venue
May 2019
I have visited the Lyric Theatre on many occasions and have always found it to be worth the trek across London. The staff are friendly and the venue is a lovely intimate performance space. I will certainly be back again.
