We had a 4 hour tour with Sam. She was very courteous and knowledgeable about the city beyond just the standard Wikipedia stuff. She was wonderful with our toddler that really made the tour for us - finding bathrooms when we needed, and a stop at a graffiti area where she provided textas to our toddler to add to the... More

Perfect way to spend a long layover in London with kids! We were able to make use of the layover and see many interesting things, quickly. Samantha was wonderfully helpful with ideas on where to go and things to see - she made it a perfect day for my kids who were pretty tired after an overseas flight. She even... More

Tip: yes, it's great to get picked up from your hotel, but depending on your location, it will really eat into your allotted tour time. We were staying in Bloomsbury, and by the time we got past traffic and on toward the sights, we were well into our hour. Luckily Jay was able to tack on a little bit more... More

Took my international team (US/Germany/UK) on a fun afternoon with the team from Small Car Big City and they couldn't stop talking about it. A total must do recommendation to anyone - impactful, informative, and totally, totally different. A huge thank you to Sam and Jay from Kronos people!

Great 2 hour tour of the city. With the small car; easy to get around the London traffic. Our guide was excellent and fun to be around. Very good knowledge of the area. One caution: small car...can be difficult or impossible to get in and out of the back seat particularly if you are tall.

This was a ton of fun, and we got to see so much of London! Tom, our guide, picked us up in the most adorable vintage Mini Cooper named "Poppy". We planned this tour for the first full morning of our London trip, and wow- what a great idea! My family loved it, and Tom even brought along some of... More

Jay arrived at our hotel ahead of pick up time and off we went. He had so much knowledge of history and really took the time to take you to off the grid places. We requested to see Abbey Road and he arranged it for us. Why go on a huge bus tour when you can have 1:1 attention and... More

Rob and Laurence were great guides to take us around city. I was able to knit together the places i had seen by tube or heard of and make a bit more sense of the city. Great history and nice tidbits like the graffiti area under Waterloo Station. Stopped and explored the Borough Market. Traffic got bad at the end... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
