We only had a day and a half in London, how best to see as much as possible as fast as possible? Small Car Big City was our answer. They were great to deal with before we traveled answering numerous questions via email. Jay met us at Waterloo Station and took us on a great 2 hour tour, getting through... More

What a blast! We booked a two hour trip on advice from a friend and was not disappointed. Our request was for off the beaten track and our guide took us to markets, street art and a variety of areas in and around the city that, despite having been to London many times, we had not seen. Even our son... More

We had a very lovely time going around London with Poppy and Samantha yesterday. It certainty was an experience we will not forget. Samantha is very entertaining and informative. She took us to places we never been before. We liked the Banksy tunnel and we were even allowed to make our own graffiti (not as artistic though). The trips to... More

Small Car BIG CITY is an excellent way to see many different sights in London. We did the tour on the first day and it allowed us to get a better understanding of where everything was in relation to each other. Also, you have a great opportunity to speak with someone that lives in London. Jay was a great guide,... More

We did a 2 hour tour with Sam this past week, and loved it! It was our first full day in London, so it was a great way to get the lay of the land, and get some ideas for the rest of our trip. We zipped into streets and alleys that you wouldn't go on your own, and where... More

We had the pleasure of getting to ride "Rosie" with our driver Paul. We were running late getting to our hotel where Paul was picking us up. We sent him a text about our delay and he told us "Not to worry, I will be here!" Once we went outside the hotel there was the coolest red Austin Mini Cooper... More

This was the best tour ever! Loved our wee mini 'Rosie'! Special thanks to our driver Paul, who really showed us the best of London and gave us different ideas of where to visit! Also thanks for the stories you told during the driving! This tour is "must do while in London"!

We were lucky with the weather and lucky with the excellent drivers we had. Two hours go fast when zipping around London in a mini and no time to lose as so many tasks to do. Laughing the whole way round. Tip: make sure you have comfy shoes when doing the treasure hunt. Thank you to smallcarbigcity in being accommodating... More

Our first trip to London. Booked Small Car Big City based on the positive reviews here. It was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. Paul, our driver and guide, was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his city. He also was an excellent driver - he chose the routes that were less congested and showed... More

We had a fantastic time with Sam, Paul, Tom and Pri. The guys were friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. They really wanted to make sure we had a great time and we absolutely did. Several people commented on how glad they were that Sam really encouraged us to take a look down Maltby Street Market (we were busy quaffing some champers... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
