    Boozy Afternoon Tea
Went for the Boozy Afternoon Tea with unlimited Prosecco and a table quiz together with some friends. We all found it a nice way to spend the afternoon with a bit of fun to enter the venue via the optician and the nicely decorated venue. The afternoon tea was ok, 2 options of tea, Earl Grey or English Breakfast Tea, it was a good selection of savory and sweet options as well as 1 scone with clotted cream and jam. We struggled a bit to get the Prosecco going, every time we wanted to have a top up, we needed to get up and go to the bar and ask somebody to come and serve us. Did not feel unlimited, more like they were trying to serve a little as possible to save money. The venue is nice but very cold so that was a bit of a negative. The table quiz was fun but there was no need to work together to solve it and it would have been even better if we somehow needed to work as a team. I would happily come back again

A great experience from start to finish
I did this experience with three friends and really enjoyed it. The actors were professional and fun, the clues were intriguing, and it is well 'Sherlocked-themed'. Recommend splitting up into pairs at times, we wasted time all of us working on the same things at the beginning. I would have given this an excellent if it was not quite as expensive. It is a longer experience than most escape rooms, but it is a shame that it will be cost prohibitive to some people.

    Great fun and very immersive!
Absolutely great fun, a good range of puzzles and something to keep everyone entertained. Went for a private group of 4 players and enjoyed every second of it. Props and sets are very clever and well put together, and the experience feels well thought out. Doyle's opticians is also very amusing and confused some of our group! Very much reccomded.

Firstly difficult to find entrance, then asked if I'd eye appointment, said they knew nothing about Sherlock Holmes, then made to wait in a bar for 15 minutes, so they can upsell drink. Not my thing. Not my humour at all. Might work if every member of the party were warned this was part of it. I just felt upset , insulted and cheated. Paid £120, to be expected to pay more on arrival. I left very annoyed.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. Sherlock: The Official Live Game is an immersive experience, which starts with finding our hidden entrance, which is disguised as an optician, and using the secret code to enter. This is explained in the booking confirmation email, along with a map link with where to find us. Once in the venue, our customers take a trip to our Sherlock-themed speakeasy, where they can grab a drink and relax before starting the game. This built-in time allows us to register any teams who may have not done this before prior to their arrival, as well as try to accommodate anyone guests who may be running late. It also gives our customers the opportunity to use the facilities, warm up with one of our mini-escape games or grab a refreshment if they choose to do so – this of course isn’t required. We’re sorry the experience wasn’t to your taste and wish you well. Team Sherlock

Completely immersive from the moment you receive the confirmation email to the moment you’re stumbling out of Mind Palace speakeasy bar. The puzzles were semi-linear whilst remaining mentally challenging. Clues were provided unprompted but still in character, however were still cryptic so as not to remove us from the story.

We were a party of five twenty-something year old experienced escape-roomers, and able to complete the room in 48 minutes out of the 60 minutes allocated. I wouldn’t call this room particularly challenging, however the experience was 10/10 and therefore suitable for all ages and experience levels. Plus we were “graded” at the end of the room, and we were able to keep the sheet as a memento and sort of trophy for our success.

After the game was completed we were escorted through the Mind Palace, a speakeasy bar fit with some additional puzzles to cool down. The cocktails were actually some of the best we’ve had in London, with the knowledge and experience of an excellent bartender who nailed his recommendations when we offered our flavour preferences. The drinks were shown the same meticulous care that was reflected in the escape room itself.

Everyone here at The Network is delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us, Agent. From Stamford to Sam, we work hard to ensure that all new Agents have a memorable experience from the moment they enter through the doors of Doyle's Opticians to the debrief in our "safe house", and it seems in this case we succeeded. Thank you for your kind words, they're very much appreciated. If you're still in the mood for solving some more cases, we'd like to recommend our immersive cocktail experience: The Case of the Poisoned Chalice, which takes place in The Mind Palace - we'd love to see you there!

We had a great time joining the Sherlock team to help save the world! From start to finish the challenge entertained ( and puzzled) us. The challenges were intriguing and kept us involved from start to finish. Would also recommend starting your visit early and sampling the delicious cocktails in the bar. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and we had some great photos taken by one of the 'Network' to remind us of our outing to 22B.

Fantastic experience from start to finish - the Pipers 7 had a ball - officially the noisy crew we had a blast and would do the whole experience in a heart beat. Only bit of advice to give is to wear a jumper as it’s a bit chilly apart from that out lips are sealed 🤐... book it you won’t be disappointed just terrific thanks 😊

Ah yes The Pipers 7, Stamford remembers you well! A fantastic time of 51 minutes despite you very nearly deafening Sam, but he does say it was a pleasure to help you and your family! Welcome to The Network Agents!

I booked the outdoor game for our work team day and everyone had a great time. Agent 221b was really helpful throughout the process and helped organise what we needed for the day. We hired the Mind Palace for our team meeting which is a very cool bar area, the buffet lunch was delicious and all the team on the day made sure everything run smoothly.
The outdoor game uses an app which provides locations you need to go to and you need to solve clues along the way. It takes you through some lovely areas of London I did not know even existed. The game was great fun and was good to get everyone working in their teams and by some miracle we all managed to complete it! Our host for the game "Stamford" was on hand to help with any problems.
I would highly recommend for any team building events or as a group of friends.
Thank again to the team!

I thought this was really boring if I’m honest. Everything was just really slow but she did say they were short staffed. It was so cold in there I had to keep my coat on the whole time. My husband was also cold and he is one of those that wears shorts in the winter so it must of been cold for him to comment.
The staff were very polite though, especially the man behind the bar.
I just thought it would be a little more exciting and we just sat there freezing cold trying to find the numbers to open a brief case. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Thanks for your feedback and kind comments regarding our staff. We're sorry to hear that our Cocktail Experience was not to your taste, and that the bar area felt cold. Ensuring our customers are comfortable is our top priority, so we will investigate this. Team Sherlock.

We booked for the coffee morning for my birthday. It’s sold as a puzzle experience but it was not a puzzle or an experience. So underwhelming I’m sad they didn’t bother putting in a bit more effort. I assume this is just an afterthought of the escape room.

Three janky puzzle machines tucked away in a bar that are so obviously old rejects from the escape room. We sat wondering if we were meant to do anything and the staff didn’t seem to know what we were talking about. I can’t stress enough how little story or effort goes into this.

How did they get the licence!? We completed the discarded machines in seconds, (all of which are barely working) which open latches that have nothing inside- and when we asked the staff they just shrugged and asked us if we’d timed ourselves. Lol. The sandwiches were all right though so 🤷‍♀️ 30 quid each to sit in a pants bar and have some cake! 💀

This was an OK experience. It wasn’t as good as the crystal maze in my experience. I think the staff make an experience like this. We had to wait outside for 30 minutes. There was a person setting up the room but didn’t even acknowledge us. Some may say it’s part of the experience. I just thought it was rude.

I have just had a horrible experience. I went to Baker Street with my children to start the adventure. I waited outside the venue for half and hour and they said that it’s nothing to do with us. And told us to just wait outside.
I called the number the automated message said we had to come to Shepherds Bush. I still held the line to talk to someone and they disconnected as there was no one available to answer the phone.
I then took a cab to Shepherds Bush only to be told to go back to Bakers Street. By then we had lost all energy and will to go back there. Also with spending £30 on cab fare is not worth going back!!

Hi there, We're very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the Outdoor Game. The museum on Baker Street is not connected with our game, and we endeavour to make sure this is clear in our pre-visit communications, along with the information needed to download the app you play the game through. If you'd like to further discuss your experience with us, please email info@thegameisnow.com and we'll get back to you. Thanks, Agent 221B

Really enjoyed it. It's an hour long but with all the preamble etc extends to about 100 mins as it says on the tin.

We didn't get out. Needed a few more mins but have to say there was a lot of stuff to get through. Can't obs say too much but u will recognise most of the decor and there are loads of links to the characters u know and love.

The mind palace was a bit sparse on drinks and I couldn't quite understand the games dotted around the room. However it does look good and if a drink after keeps the price down then 👍.

Had no idea of time during the game which might have helped and also there is no holding area which means u have to wait in a less than celubroous shopping centre until they are ready. I know the front is all about setting up the game but if people waiting could sit somewhere that would be much better. Perhaps use the Mind Palace for both those arriving and those leaving.

Staff on site were great.

I managed to pass an eye test, failed to join a top secret agency and enjoyed a gin and tonic to drown my sorrows. What a way to spend a sunday.

Stamford will be pleased to hear you survived your mission, Agent! Thank you so much for helping to save the world and for your kind words about Sherlock: The Game Is Now, both are very much appreciated. We do actually have plans in place to make new arrivals at Doyle's Opticians more comfortable, so thank you for your feedback. Welcome to The Network!
