Went to recording of Radio 4 comedy show Just a Minute. Show was excellent, but there is lots of waiting around for ticket check, photo id check, and airport style security check. Catering facilities are inadequate. I wanted a coffee, but the slow moving and...More

BBC no longer gives any public access to the BBC Shop or the Media Cafe. It's trained thugs who cannot speak English stop you.

If you arrive early you get to see a few celebs going in and out. Queuing for entry to a recording can be slow but is quite orderly. Cafe has a limited bar but teas & coffees cheap. Seating in the (radio) studio is comfortable.

This is not like a High Street store. It is located inside the security-checked area where access is restricted to people with a show ticket.

I don’t think tours are offered anymore. So I assume that, after the security check, you can access the cafe. However, I would ring first to check.

Oxford Circus tube station. Then walk to BH. I did the BH tour about five years ago. Frankly I waa not impressed but since then the building work has finished and the tour has changed. Read the reviews here: tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g186338-…
