London is always a fascinating city and Camdem contains all its characteristics, returning there after years was a thrill. Colors, shop windows, sunsets, clubs, music, lights, neighborhoods, make you enter a unique world, full of surprises and emotions. And Amy's state manages to give you the idea that she is still there, nearby. London manages to make you leave everyday life at home and fills you with surprises.

Located in the Camdem Market neighborhood, it is a walk that accompanies seeing the statue of the unforgettable Amy. Many shops, bars, alternative markets, live music, etc. The statue is at the end of the route when you exit the subway.

Amy Winehouse was a very popular singer during the early 21st-century. She died in 2011. Her life-sized bronze statue was placed in this market in 2014. It was designed by Scott Eaton. It is a bronze statue which shows Amy standing with her characteristic dress and hairstyle. Youncan see many other Amy Winehouse dedications all around this area. Amy Winehouse was a talented multi-genre singer grew up in this area. She worked in the stables market as a teenager. She also sang and served ina pub nearby called Holy Arms pub. It has her photos all over its walls. Sadly this was the area in which she died tragically in 2011 at age 27.

The statue is located in Camden Market near the Cheese Bar. If you're walking around the market you may stumble across this statue or see the Amy Winehouse mural. She passed in Camden Town and this seems like a nice tribute.

Every year I come back here twice
Since 2016 I have had a rite of visiting England twice a year and I always take the Amy Winehouse tour, starting at the statue in Camden Market and then going to the Pub and ending in front of her house.
There are numerous tributes to Amy in Camden and the statue is the largest of them.

While wandering around in Camden Market, I came across this statue of Amy Winehouse, the British singer and songwriter who sadly died of alcohol poisoning in 2011.
This statue depicts Winehouse at the height of her fame in high heels and her trademark beehive hairdo.

Easy to find statue of a wasted talented singer called Amy Whitehouse, if its life size she was certainly below average height but vast in vocal range, might be a queue, some was doing a interview for TV when we visited.

If in Camden, don't miss it! Quite a tiny statue, but evolving into a memorial site to this great voice, Amy Winehouse, that was taken away too soon!
