Nice exhibition space in the middle of an old building and working space for design businesses. Easy access and nice and bright due to a glass roof. Food and drinks are pricey but Angel is right outside so lots of local choices

I recently visited the Business Design Centre to set up for two different events as part of Black Business Week and Black Young Professionals and I want to give a massive shout out to the behind the scenes staff at this venue. Everyone from the loading bay staff, lift operators, security staff and organisers couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. Honestly I have visited so many different venues in the UK in my role as an event organiser and on-site staff and it makes such a difference when dealing with lovely friendly people in a stressful time pressured situation and they definitely get my vote as No 1. Well done and hope other venues with their loading bay staff take note - we are all trying to achieve the same successful outcome for the event - so let’s work together!! Thank you BDC 😀

Great venue 10-minute walk from Angel Tube station. We were there as guests for the London Art Fair. A huge space with so many artists and galleries displaying. Well worth a visit.

Great centre for exhibitions.
Just be ready to remortgage your house to buy lunch here. The menu isn’t clear which caused lots of embarrassment when people got to the till.
Otherwise then that they have plenty of toilets, recycling points, places to fill up your water bottle and access for wheelchair users.

Visited the show today with a very good friend and we had a great time trying hard but unsuccessfully to resist buying so many beautiful pieces of craft from wonderfully friendly craftsmen.

The show seemed to have smaller stands this year but full of Christmas items which were all of a very high standard and skill set.

Got home this afternoon and wished I bought so much more.......just have to book the Spring fair tickets for 2019 I guess.

Thank you for more wonderful Christmas inspirations.

My friend just sent me a link to go to the Cheese & Wine Festival at the Design Centre this December - thank god I was able to tell him not to waste his money!! I urge you to listen to the reviews on the previous Cheese & Wine Festival in March 2015 there as we also attended.

My boyfriends parents were over from Prague and we took them here for what we thought would be a fun afternoon (after all we had visited when it was Czech House for the Olympics and had a blast!!) - all I can say is we have never been so embarrassed!! It was the biggest disappointment and waste of money - we did not get one sample of either cheese or wine, you had to buy everything!! And such a rip off considering you can venture to the South Bank or Borough and stuff your belly with samples which encourages you to buy the treats!!

Also absolutely no atmosphere or even decent seating areas to eat/drink if you did buy, place was filthy like being in a Student Cafeteria - awful!!! We left within 20/25 mins.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not waste your money - they should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much money for this debacle!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with the previous review - if I had paid full price I would have been livid. Five of us went on the Sunday and by 12.30pm it was impossible to move let alone reach any stalls. There were few options to buy anything to eat, bizarre!? If you did feel like queuing 45 minutes for the one stall serving a platter you would have to sit on the floor anyway.

There were no talks, no complimentary tastings or even a drink for your £12.50 - the paid tasting sessions were sold out by midday. You couldn't even reach the stalls to sample or look let alone buy.

This was a cynical and embarrassing attempt to lure people in to part with their money on the door and then realise they'd been duped once in. I could hear people in the crowd saying 'I've just paid £12 to be able to buy cheese I could buy in Borough market" and "you don't get anything for your money".

We didn't last much more than 30 minutes and trudged dejectedly through the rain and wind to find Sunday lunch.

Never again.

Visited with my partner on Saturday 28/3/15 after buying a groupon voucher, buy one get one free. So glad I only wasted £12 and not £24.
Turns out the cheese and wine was shared with chocolate too. More chocolate stands than cheese and wine. So busy. personally there were very few stalls. The stalls were mobbed. At least four to five people deep. You were lucky if you got to taste a splinter of chocolate and crumb of cheese.
On the up side The building was lovely, plenty of toilets. However the place was so busy that people were sitting on stairs blocking them. I climbed over people's legs to get upstairs. Surely on grounds of Health & Safety this is not acceptable. There was no security going around moving these people causing obstructions.
We left after ten minutes. A total waste of money. Very disappointing. You'd be better off going to Borough Market for free and enjoy tasting the fabulous foods on offer there.
Would not recommend to anyone

Attended the Global Aviation Festival here. A very nice space to use, open and inviting. Great little restaurant on the top floor, and some super cool businesses permanently located here. Good space for breakout sessions and surprisingly capacitous.
The mass catering was also very good. Well located and accessible via The Angel tube, which is only 5 mins walk away and you go past a Starbucks!
