Holborn Viaduct is in the City of London and crosses Farringdon Street below.

It is close to City Thameslink railway station and St Pauls Tube station is a little further away. This is on the Central line.

There are some beautiful statues on the viaduct so if you are walking around it is worth pausing to admire this piece of architecture.

They don’t make bridges like this anymore. And it’s a shame. Beautiful design and decorative touches make it well worth a stop and look.

Holborn Viaduct is a nice place to visit. It is just a 5-minute walk form Holborn Station.
It has very nice ironwork, which you cannot see nowadays.

It is worth taking a time to explore this viaduct which you will miss if you cross it on a bus. The dragons are especially amazing. The stonework on the buildings at the 4 corners is terrific and one of them contains a lift if you want to avoid the rather smelly stairs. The decorative iron fretwork continues even underneath the bridge.

Holborn Viaduct is a road bridge in London and it connects Holborn to the city of London. It was built between 1863 and 1869.
I took a walk from one of the oldest pubs in London, Cittie of Yorke to the St. Paul's Cathedral just by walking through this bridge. It was a lovely walk and this viaduct was also nice!
