Helpful, efficient, friendly
Oct 2021 • Family
We just did 2 days in London and went on: underground , overground, DLR, buses, emerites Cable car and I was thoroughly impressed with all TfL staff that we came across.they were friendly, helpful, took time to smile & talk to the children & helped with any problems & queries we had over routes, tickets and more.
Just wanted to come on a review and say Well Done to those staff.
Particular shout out to a female member of staff at Waterloo underground and ticket office staff at Emerites cable car - really sorry I don’t have a name.

First class travel in London.
Sep 2021 • Couples
Recently visited London and relied heavily on the Underground. Opted to use contactless payment as it was convenient and easy to use. I was advised that the maximum daily charge was £7.40, which is nothing for the amount of travelling I did. Just remember to tap in and out of every station. First class service. Well done TfL.

Thankful
Aug 2021
After hearing about a medical incident, two members of staff were quick to come and check on my daughter who had fainted. Although no further help was required as this was due to her medical condition, it was reassuring that they continued to check if we needed any help/refreshments. I am grateful and thank them for their concern.

Dreadful
Sep 2020
I will never use any London Transport again thanks to the shambles that are TFL. my partner works in London and frequently drives there for meetings. She has always paid her congestion charges the very same day, and this day was no different. Paid by phone as usual, received the automated thank you text message and receipt and also have the bank statement with the £15 deduction. however, this is still not good enough for TFL who insist they cant find the receipt number on their records and despite showing proof that the money has left our account. want to charge us again!! They are a disgrace to London and something needs to be done about them. We will be taking the matter to court.

Bad experience
May 2021 • Solo
This morning with N9 at 5.10 in Hyde Park Corner I got a bad experience with the bus driver. My oyster card was not functioning and he started to scream, very rude and arrogant. I'm a woman and I'm scared about man screaming, I understand that my oyster card was not functioning but I don't think this is the right way to face the problem.

8 months pregnant and door closed right before let in
Nov 2020 • Business
I was om my way to work this morning at 8.05 from Hogarth Gardens bus stop with bus number 120. I was 5 meters from bus and the driver let one guy in and right before my nose he closed the door and showed the sign 'bus is full'.. the fact that I'm 8 MONTHS PREGNANT with big belly and TFL badge 'Baby on board' did not make any difference for a driver.
SO RIDICULOUS!

Very convenient
Aug 2020 • Family
Very convenient for travelling in and around London. Noticeably more quite than normal. Still the fastest way to get around. I like to take the buses to enjoy more of London (in stead of seeing nothing but darkness). But travelling with a small child isn’t always fine as you need to give priority to anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter in stead of ‘first come first served’. Can be quite unpractical if you have a baby. Bus won’t leave until you sort and hold your pram. There’s no room for two, so be warned when travelling!

Take As You Find
Jun 2020
Transport For London (TFL) is an organisation that manages the different transport modes in London. These include buses, the tube, trams and some of the trains which run from Shenfield to Liverpool Street and Paddington to Heathrow Airport and Reading. Hopefully these two lines will be linked up very soon by the Crossrail project.

As a result there are always going to be times when things don't always go to plan but generally there is a good service provided including Night Buses, Night Tube and also providing cycle lanes.

Personally I've never had a bad experience and all the staff I have met have been friendly and professional.

Nice way to get familiar with London: The one-day bus and tram pass for just £5
Jan 2020
I have visited London twice, in June 2011 and January 2020. Both times I spent days watching nice views through the upper windshield of red buses of TfL (Transport for London). There it is possible to see buildings, statues, traffic and a huge variety of humans.
The red London buses are running from the early morning to the early hours of the next day. The 5£ bus pass can be bought at all train and underground stations. The pass is valid until 4 o'clock next morning. You can travel in the whole London area: just take ride on one bus and then change for another. There are tens of lines and hundreds of buses to choose all the time. You don't need to wait for many minutes when the next bus is coming. And you don't need to worry about zones. Just hop on the bus, show your pass to the kind driver and hurry to the upstairs.
My only hit to Transport for London is that the bus pass could be valid for next 24 hours. Then you would be not forced to walk to buy the next day's pass. Now we had to walk some 600 meters to the Paddington station every morning.
