We visited the museum today and were so impressed. The new hanger is fantastic with some little planes for the children to climb in and out of, clothes to try on and lots of buttons to press.

During a lovely and fun visit to the RAF museum we decided to stop and get some food from the cafe. 6 members of team behind the 'bar/counter' and a supposed manager.
After being 'greeted' by a waitress we were given a one word answer...More

If you like airplanes of every conceivable vintage, this is the place to visit. Easy to get to, free entry (but you'll want to leave a donation) and lots to see and learn. I really enjoyed my afternoon visiting the RAF Museum.
Visited this RAF museum last Thursday and we spent 4 hours visiting all the well laid out hangers with aircraft from both wars and from other countries.there is a well stocked gift shop and several eateries on site, but you can bring your own food.

Yes but you’d do best to contact them first
They have a picnic area inside but you might not be popular taking it over
You should contact the venue direct- trip adviser isn’t the best way to answer booking type questions
