Brilliant in Camden
Sep 2021
Great place for people who like great beer and/or great food.
On first view the food menu is not what any of us expected but the food was just superb.
The can buy beer in 3rds so you can have a taste of a number.

Great Tour and Sampling
Aug 2021 • Couples
I enjoyed the tour and sampling and then a few pints in the beer hall where there is a large range of interesting beers brewed on site. The guide Mike was knowledgable, interesting and explained everything really well from malts and hops with examples to help with the tasting session. The brewery tour is interesting to see how it’s made and every step is thoroughly explained. He also opens up a couple of large vials to drawdown some fresh unfiltered beer to try. The tour finishes and then your free to buy some drinks from the brewery room with a wide range of beers to choose. Pints are circa £6.50 so no in/site discount but the whole experience was enjoyable and it was great getting to know this little brand better.

Ignore all the negatives, this is an absolute must!
Jul 2021
I would just like to start by saying that I have read previous reviews of the tours and can't believe people thought it to be "average at best". Myself and my partner have been on a few brewery and distillery tours now and this is the best one we have ever been on.

When we arrived we were greeted by our guide, Mark and were each all given a half pint of Camden Hells and shortly after our tasters were brought out. Firstly I would like to point out the portions provided were very generous compared to what other brands have provided. Along side the samples we were given tasting cards in which Mark spoke us through each drink and the components of each and helped us to decide which drink we liked and why. For those who are a fan of the Camden brand, the tour gives you the opportunity to try Squid Ink and Gentleman's Wit, drinks you will not usually find in standard pubs or bars. Once we had completed the tastings, we were taken on a tour around the brewery where we were shown the process from start to finish. We have recently been on a gin distillery tour and due to Covid a lot of the interactive tasks were removed but the Camden tour was still very immersive and did not feel we missed out on anything because of restrictions.

After the tour was finished we visited the Beer Hall next door as they have over 20 beers available on tap which allows you to try others like the Unfiltered Hells which is brewed on site. My only minor negative would be that the food menu was a little small and a little pretentious but would definitely recommended the Hall for drinks as it was a good large and airy space with loads of tables. If coming on a sunny day, there were also plenty of outside seating too.

We would like to thank Mark for his extensive knowledge and his enthusiasm for the brand really came through which made the tour very interesting and we all came away feeling a lot more knowledgeable!

Was really looking forward to this visit, granted the weather didn’t help but the drinks were really expensive considering they are brewed onsite. Staff not very friendly and added service charge 🤷🏻‍♂️. Won’t be going back...

Camden beer more expensive here than in pubs..
Aug 2020 • Friends
Not sure what's to like about this place, maybe the pouring rain soured the mood, from which there was barely any shelter.

They charged more than the pubs on all beers and then add mandatory service charge to that because you arent currently allowed to go to the bar. We stayed for one then bought their own beers cheaper in the nearest pub.

Wonderful experience
Mar 2020
I attended the Camden Brewery Tour on Sunday 15th March with my family and had to say how fantastic the staff and the tour was.

Our guide was a chap called Michael and he was so knowledgeable, entertaining and was a wonderful ambassador for the Brewery Team.

The owner / management of the Brewery should be very proud of the staff that looked after us on Sunday, they were all great.

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone that visits London.

Great times well spent.

Good variety within the small in-house range of beer, cute souvenirs

My bf took me here for my birthday and I really enjoyed the environment and the beer especially ipa. I've even got a litre can of it to take home! We do a lot of small breweries and this one has a lively vibe on weekend evenings.

Fabulous place to visit and do a tour
Dec 2019 • Friends
My husband and his friend went on the tour and loved it. You get a free drink on your next visit so we all went yesterday and this a real gem and worth a visit. The place was spotless and clean and selection of Camden beers on tap and to buy as well as merchandise.
