What a great way to adapt the old classic movie. Every bit as enjoyable, great talented artists and excellent transition into musical format. If you liked the movie, you should't miss it!

Visited London for a long weekend and made the best use of it by going to a couple of shows - one of which was the Garrick's Young Frankenstein. For those of you who remember the Mel Brooks black and white big screen version, you...More

It’s an unusual subject for a musical but performed very well by the cast. The music I am informed is quite tricky and sounded tight. Shame its finishing this weekend but all in all an amusing musical with some of the cast being funny and...More

I feel bad for the actors, it's not their fault, but the writing is predictable and embarrassingly unfunny. The story line is weak at best. The songs are average, the sets are below average. The only saving grace is that the assistant is sort of...More

What a fantastic show, so many gags and an amazing cast. My daughter and I have been laughing the entire evening. Go if you get a chance before it ends on Saturday if you want a great night out with a laugh.

Good show for the price of the ticket. Some good jokes but very ‘dad’. Go if you can grab a bargain.

We love Mel Brooks and love the move Young Frankenstein. And the play did not disappoint. It was funny from the start and I think Igor made the show. It is definitely Mel Brooks style of humor, sexually suggestive. But it was very enjoyable. The...More

I didn't know quite what to expect from this, I'm a fan of musical and theater but didn't know entirely how this would be suited to me. From the start I was chuckling. Here and there a little crudity, and a good dose of slapstick...More

It was an enjoyable performance with some excellent singing. The Garrick is a small friendly theatre our stall seats (P3&4) had a good view of the stage although there is limited legroom. The only downside was the audience members who thought it okay to talk...More

I got a last minute ticket to this yesterday and it was in the front row. I wouldn’t recommend it as a lot of the stage is blocked from view. I honestly wasn’t the biggest fan of the show, I didn’t find it all that...More

If he likes the movie, I think he'll like the musical. It is very funny, though also very bawdy and a lot of sexual word play and innuendo
