This brewery is tucked away around the corner from the popular Beavertown Brewery. I actually enjoyed this brewery more as it was less crowded. The owners were really nice and chatty - check out the escape pod stout 10% it’s amazing. This place has indoor seating and you are right next to the fermenters so you feel right in on the action. You have to pay £2.50 for your pint glasses but this was easily refundable at the end of the day. Great vibe to this place - I will certainly return

Pressure Drop is just round the corner from, the also excellent, Beavertown taproom, but it is never as busy which is a huge bonus. They brew many different styles of beer, from nice easy going 3% wits to 10% stouts, so something for everyone in their ~10 tap lines.
There are standard wooden benches and tables to sit at and plenty of room to stand if it gets busy. I’ve never seen queues at the bar take more than a couple of minutes, unlike the nearby Beavertown, where you can be waiting 15 minutes plus.
They have my favourite glass deposit scheme, where you can either get your £2.50 back or trade it for a takeaway bottle.

It could be easy to miss this taproom tucked at the back of an industrial estate but it’s worth visiting, good beer, good prices. If your visiting Beavertown Brewery you’d be a fool not to pop your head into it’s less glamorous neighbour.

Located on the same Lockwood Industrial Park as the Beavertown Brewery, just a bit further onto the Industrial Park and around the corner to the left, the Pressure Drop Brewery is also open 2.00PM to 8.00PM on a Saturday and uses the same card payment only and £2.50 deposit system for the glass as employed by Beavertown.
The difference is that it doesn’t attract the crowds that the Beavertown brewery attracts and being one large Industrial unit space internally it was just that bit more of a comfortable experience to sup an ale. The setup is a bit cleaner than at the Beavertown plant round the corner, as the tap wall bar is at the far end of the industrial unit past all the bench seating, and then there is a separate till at the entrance for returning glasses for refund of a bottle of beer when you are on your way out.
The tap wall was dispensing ten Pressure Drop brews with all at £3.00 for a half or 2/3 depending on strength, except for the 3.6% Alive and Well Session IPA at £2.50 for 2/3 and the 7.4% Partial Pressures which was £3.50 for a half.

Love the beers at pressure drop, and just around the corner from the much busier beavertown males this my favourite brewery for a drink in this area of London.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, and you can purchase the glasses or return them to get your deposit back.

My sister, who lives locally, recommended this brew house on our recent trip to London. An excellent range of beers at fantastic prices in an ad hoc brewery setting. All of this made for a great night out.

Great place to visit after a trip to Walthamstow Wetlands. Getting a fresh beer straight from the brewery was a nice reward for a long walk. Different food vendors every week but the couple of times I have been they have been a good standard and match the beers well. Nice relaxed atmosphere and worth searching out.
