The area
Address
Neighborhood: Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
How to get there

A little disappointed
May 2019 • Friends
The shop was half closed off, which was a shame as I would have loved to have looked at more antiques. Most of the things sold were new, mugs and magnifying glasses, though a couple of interesting items by the door.

One of the nicest shops in London
Feb 2019 • Solo
Alice's is a great shop for wooden stuff and antiques. It is on Portobello Road. Not only is it nice in its interior but also from the outside and many people walkers stop just to take a photo of the shop.

this is a milestone stop off for any budding tourists trudging around notting hill. Made super super famous by the Paddington films, this beautiful piece of history is ridden with unbelievable ( and affordable ) trinkets, toys and collectables. Please visit, you will not be disappointed.

If you are in Nothing Hill visiting Portobello Road you don't have to miss this shop. The street front is beautiful and also the inside. The prices are affordable.

Great Place for A Vintage Gift or Souvenir
Dec 2017 • Couples
This place has a gorgeous storefront and a must visit when antiquing and shopping on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. The storefront is absolutely gorgeous and I heard was on Paddington the movie. The prices are pretty good. You can find all sorts of gifts from old Dundee Marmalade jars, old crates, to newer and incredibly gorgeous chintz pottery and teapots made in Staffordshire by Heron Cross Pottery. Great place to pick up a beautiful Made in England teapot for under 30 pounds. The shop itself is pretty narrow on the inside but packed with lots of goodies. A destination shop for sure.
