Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Yesterday was plain awful
Oct 2019 • Family
The only good actor in this show was the dog! What a pile of crap. Uncomfortably hot, no booster seats, crap back drop, horrendous accents, poor direction and abominable acting. Worst show I’ve ever seen by far, absolute amateurs. Felt like I was stuck in the 1920’s and no effort or money was spent on the whole production. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used the same props, script and costumes from the original Broadway release in 1977. It was so outdated and boring and not one of us enjoyed it. Definitely do not take children.

Better than expected
Oct 2019 • Couples
Watched whilst on tour at the Edinburgh playhouse. Not sure why but wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Great sets, great singing and performances. The young girl playing annie I believe was called ava smith had a very strong voice. Lesley Joseph also good as miss hannigan despite a questionable new York accent. So all in all a decent show.

Annie In Tour - Great Show At The Birmingham Hippodrome
Aug 2019 • Family
What a wonderful surprise! This was an absolutely brilliant show. Classic songs and great acting, with more than it's fair share of comedy, if you love musicals you will not be disappointed by Annie. Jodie Prenger starred as Miss. Hannigan and was simply quite sensational. Well done to the whole cast for a truly uplifting show.

A bit disappointed
May 2019 • Friends
I went to see Annie with 11 friends. I wanted to see it because I am a fan on Craig Revell Horwood who was playing Miss Hannigan.

As I expected, he was very good in the part and a joy to see.

However, we all thought that the girl who played Annie had a very shrill voice and in her attempt to get the New York accent right, the lyrics of the songs she sang were lost. She was a good actress and dancer but her voice didn't suit the part, in our opinion.

She was one of 3 girls that play Annie. I am not going to name her because that would be unfair and could knock her confidence.

We all agreed that we enjoyed the show but it could have been so much better.

Best show I've seen
Feb 2019 • Family
I watched the opening show of Annie today. It totally took me back to my childhood, I loved Annie as a child so I had high expectations and it did not disappoint! Anita Dobson was fabulous, the children were amazing, as were all the cast including 'Sandy'. Singing, dancing, acting, music, staging, choreography ... All spot on. I would definitely recommend it.

The best show I have seen!
Aug 2017
Well what an astounding show , each member of the superb cast gave it that all , I felt like jumping on the stage and joining in , just an absolutely foot tapping and sing along show . My daughter won the two tickets answering why she would like to go ,as she said ...as a child it was my all time film and story such happy memories of my childhood and she wanted to share those happy memories with her mom! That was it , so thank you my lovely and a Huge thankyou to the cast and production team . I have just purchased tickets for my little granddaughter and her parents as I know the will love it too for next January when it visits on tour, Wolverhampton .

Fun and entertaining musical
Nov 2017 • Friends
I went to see this musical with a couple of friends and we found it very entertaining. I usually really like Miranda Hart but was not entirely convinced by her Miss Hannigan portrayal - I didn't think she was nasty enough. There were some great performances from the children in the cast. I wouldn't say its the best musical production I have seen, but it was fun and we enjoyed it a lot.

Fun for kids, boring for adults
May 2018 • Couples
This musical is best fit for children to watch. It has a good moral storyline with examples to reflect on in conversation with your children. Its a fun watch, but a little too simplistic for the adult mind. It did very little to engage my thinking. I enjoy more complex, stimulating themes with sustantial dialgue. Therefore would not recommend to a mature, intellectual audience.
