The area
Neighborhood: Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

The toilets are free to enter now thankfully, and they were clean. I was there on a Sunday morning.

Amazing and understanding staff
Jul 2021 • Solo
I found myself incredibly stressed due to my own mistake mixing up coaches. I was running through the coach station making a scene and was met only with kindness and understanding with the staff here. Four out of five of the people I consulted to fix my mistake were amazing especially a middle aged man who was especially kind to me. I recommend looking at what company your going with instead of the destination and time but if you do have a problem the staff are on the whole very helpful and friendly.

Terrible service

I booked an open tickets to bus in advance. Still I needed to confirm it and for this I needed to wait in queue for half an hour. It was very slow, there was just one person processing the request and the queue was long

Just a Bus Station
Nov 2019
Little bit difficult to find and Londoners aren't friend;y enough to help you.

It serves a purpose and the little restaurant upstairs lets you use the plugs to charge your phone etc... for a fee... good business idea but a bit of a pain.

Fairly easily accessible but better signage needed really.

Staff are as friendly as other Londoners (not) and passengers also usually a load of loud Londoners.

First experience at Victoria coach station
Nov 2019 • Friends
I used the national express service from Cambridge- London, then London to Southampton. The layout of the station is quite poor, not very clear on where to go once you arrive, which I found very unwelcoming. The toilets are disgusting, especially for 30p! You can go into the pub toilet instead for free! There is also not anywhere to sit in the cafes apart from cafe Nero, which is also the only place with a phone charging point.

Use As A Means to an End
Feb 2020 • Couples
Now if you use Victoria Coach Station as your gateway into and out of London and nothing more than you will not be disappointed. I have to agree with every other review on here especially about the state of the toilets, my question is why no notice is being taken by the people who run the terminal? If the staff who mind the toilets spent more time cleaning and less time gossiping and pocketing the 30p charge, (I saw them doing this whilst waiting for my wife who was in the loos) then the place would be more hygienic. In regards to the homeless using the terminal! Personally I don’t mind them spending some time in the warm and dry and you can forgive the state aroma when trying to keep warm. The small Starbucks and Greggs are good and open late but I chose to spend as little time there as possible and as the busses run very well we turn up just before to get a coffee, get on our bus and leave.

Pay to poop??

Victoria Coach Station seems to be a hub of bus activity. When we landed at Heathrow, we took an Uber straight there to enure we made our bus for Stonehenge on time. We arrived in plenty of time as our flight was early. Two employees told us independently that the gate we wanted was indeed the one listed our ticket, and that it was at one the one end of the station. Later, someone else told us that, no, it's at the exact opposite end of the station, not the gate shown on our ticket. Why we always leave a large time buffer in our activity schedule. Indeed, the departure point was at the opposite end of the station and not the one shown on our ticket. Because we had come directly from the airport, the three of us each had our two carry-ons. We carried our belongings to the opposite side of the station We made the tour. Our items were kindly stored under the bus in the baggage compartment, and we had confirmed this accommodation ahead of time. The bus had basic seating, was comfortable enough for the two-hour ride (this one was a little longer than advertised). An on-board toilet is provided, but little commentary from the driver. Bums and homeless people are laying about the station, and many birds are walking around. You have to pay .30 pence to use the station toilet, and it's not that clean. A sign says that you need exact change, or no entry through the turnstile to the toilet. I can't vouch for the women's side, but on the men's side, if you don't have the exact change you can see the toilet warden in his office where he has change hidden under a page of his newspaper. He doesn't advertise this service, but people seem so know. I happened to witness a transaction, so approached the warden in his office and offered a large coin to change and was granted the necessary pence-to-pee fee. Not the cleanest facility, and the female toilet magistrates were quite snooty. If I'd known there was a toilet on the bus, I may have tempted fate, but the bus toilet was so puny that I didn't even see it until a rider went to use it. The bus/coach station, and the train station are not the same. They are across the street from one another.

I came back from London via a National Express coach on Sunday evening (23rd). The coach journey and customer service were as expected but I was shocked by the discusting state of the female toilets. You have to pay 30p for the privilege of using these facilities which were the worst that I have ever had to use in a public transport environment. All but one of the cubicles were unusable with used heavily soiled sanitary towels on floor; vomit on the seats and on the floor and toilets full of faecal waste and unflushed. The attendent seemed oblivious to all this, seeming to be focused on the people coming in and out. I turned round and walked to Victoria train station to use the public toilets there which are free to use and always clean and well stocked with the things you need. May I suggest the team at the coach station take a lesson from their neighbours.
