Fanatastic Local Bookshop - a local institution

The Newham Bookshop has been a focal point for the local community for almost 40 years. It is a little gem of a shop with wonderful, knowledgeable staff who have a real passion for books and are always keen to share this with the people of London. For a store which is a relative small player amongst the behemoths like Waterstone's this store has a great selection of limited edition and signed books for the one off and serious collectors. The shop also plays a very important part in promoting reading among the local children by arranging school visits and reading and is a supporter of the World Book initiative. Visit the Newham Bookshop just once and you will hooked.
