Nice price

Small supermarket with all you need, urgently or for your daily shopping. Nice staff and easy to check out through the self service cashier.

park and canal
Jul 2019
The mile end park is long and thin and runs along side the Regent's canal.
It is very pleasant and has distinct "areas" including a Sports park, an Ecology park, Arts park and a Terrace garden.
A great place on a nice sunny day unfortunately my photos do not do it justice.

Pleasant parkrun
Feb 2019 • Solo
I visited for Mile End parkrun and what a delight. We got to run along the tarmac which was clear from rubbish, beautiful to look at & not too bad underfoot even with the ice that the park had. Very pleasant part of London, would return.

Wonderful walk alongside Regents Canal
Jun 2018 • Friends
You can walk near Saint Mary University along Regents Canal, Mile End Park is a lovely green space to walk through. The park is long and narrow and has been divided into several sections. The north is mainly a wildlife area with several boards giving information on the wildlife you can hope to see. It was nice to see foxes at night.

Great Place to Wander
Jun 2018 • Couples
After a walk along Regents Canal, Mile End Park is a lovely green space to walk through. So much to see and do here - a play area for children, an ecology park, gardens, and a climbing wall for the brave!

Lovely find
Apr 2018 • Couples
There was a craft market at the Ecology Centre which meant a trip to Mile End tube and a walk across the park. It was a lovely day and the park is really nice with a pond and running next to the canal. The build up of apartment blocks nearby almost give a Central Park vibe. Would love to have this closer by a nice open and natural area.

What a lovely park. So much to do!

I last came here about 25 years ago when I walked along the Regent's Canal which borders the park at its western edge. At that time it was a flat, featureless green space. The only building I remember was a pub which stands on its own and is still there. It has changed beyond all recognition. There is an excellent map available to download from the Tower Hamlets website. The park is long and narrow and has been divided into several parts as it is bisected by roads and railways. The north is mainly a wildlife area with several boards giving information on the wildlife you can hope to see. There is an art school / gallery as well as formal gardens, play areas, a pond toward the southern end as well as toilets and a café. There is a stadium, a skate park, a climbing wall, a fitness area.......Plus there is a 'green' bridge over the Mile End Road!!!
