I wouldn't go out of my way but if you are in the area check out this old lovely church.
Peaceful setting.

Surprising to be in the heart of a densely populated London and come across this church just around the corner from Theatreland.

This seems to be a popular churchyard if not the church itself. It must be a lack of readily available green spaces in the area that seems to make this spot so relatively popular.

A nice place to while away some time - if you can find it and if there are seats left to be had.

Maybe take in some rays on bright spring or summer days but it’s a useful very pleasant spot all year round, either simply to draw breath and reflect or to find a spot where you can sit down with your street food or an impromptu snack from the corner shop.

Peaceful place to sit, rest, unwind from nearby areas (Chinatown, Leicester Square). It has small footprint, but enough to relax . . .

Amazing how quite it is considering it’s about 100 yards from China Town and outside is mobbed with people. Nice place to relax.

Pleasant courtyard in Soho. Green space. Table tennis. Quiet place from the crowds. A nice little stop off point especially in the summer sun.

After a long walk round London we visited here for a break.
We spent about an hour here chilling out, it wasn’t too busy and it was nice and peaceful.
The church looks really nice from the outside.
Only downside is that there is a strong smell of urine as you go through the gates into the park.

The small churchyard of St. Anne's is a lovely place to relax in the shade or sun. It's a real oasis, separated from the crowds, noise, and bustle of the West End, but merely a block north of Shaftesbury on Wardour Street. The bulbous tower and belfry of the church are particularly unusual and interesting (see photo.) Novelist Dorothy Sayres' ashes are apparently buried in the crypt. She was a member of the parish.

I dropped by on a warm May Sunday afternoon and enjoyed my lunch while sitting on one of the old tombs in the yard. A lovely spot.

Taking a stroll from Piccadilly Circus, I was delighted to come across this cute and peaceful escape nestled in this very busy area within London. Thriving with history dating back to the 17th Century, this beautiful space is a history lover's dream with burials dating before 1853! Not only this, the space makes an exceptionally peaceful resting place if you need a break from the busy streets around it with numerous individuals using the garden space as a picnic area or meeting space. If you are within the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by for a relaxing break from the surrounding hustle and bustle.
