    Once again I was impressed by the excellent service from this company. I had to catch a train, the traffic was heavy, and the driver made a superb effort to get me there on time. Add a spotlessly clean and comfortable vehicle and polite and thoughtful driver. There's a reason why I keep coming back to Patrick year after year. He really does go the extra mile!

    Patrik has picked us up quite a few times. He is always punctual, well seen and friendly. The car he used to pick us up was always clean and adapted to our needs. The ride was always pleasant and we always learned something new. We contact him every time we return to London.

    Great Car Service
    Used Patrick Egwu for car service at Heathrow. We were advised beforehand who driver would be with his details, Car was on time with driver contacting us to say where he would meet us. Car was clean and spacious (Mercedes Vaneo) and the transfer was quick and smooth. Would use again.

    Beyond Excellent Service!
    We have trusted Patrick with all of our transport in the UK for the past year. We travel often between the U.S. and the UK and Patrick makes our travel so much easier. Whether we are traveling in between UK airports or to any other location in the UK, we have no worries. We can relax and enjoy the ride to our next destination.

    Prompt and Incredibly Helpful
    I booked Patrick's service based on good reviews from others and I am so glad I did. We had flight delays and cruise cancellation. Patrick was so helpful rearranging pickup times and adding new pickup at the last minute to help us. His driver Milverton was efficient, helped with all the luggage and made sure our trip was comfortable. I will definitely use Patrick and his team for my next trip to London.

    Hired Patrick Egwu Transportation in August 2022 for a trip to the Airport. After making a number of requests online for best price and overall quality of service I came across Patrick Egwu Transportation. Had brief chat with them on my requirements on type of vehicle collection time etc and they werre able to meet all my requirements. Booking was very straightforward and on the day, they arrived several minutes early and called to notify me of their arrival. They kindly advised that there was no rush as well as offered to come and collect my luggage. The vehicle was a Mercedes Viano which was of course spacious, clean and so a more luxury people carrier. Was extremely impressed with the overall service that I used them for an airport pick on my return. Most definitely recommended! 5 star!

    I had nothing but a positive experience with Patrick Egwu's transportation service. From beginning to end, he was responsive to my questions and my needs. My assigned driver was friendly, courteous and checked in with me to ensure I made it back to the airport for my return flight. I would recommend this service to anyone, as it made my 5 hour stay in London stress free.

    Above and beyond service
    Despite my need to make a last minute change to my booking Patrick rearranged his personal schedule to make sure my ride was covered. And after I accidentally forgot a small bag in the car he personally delivered it back to my hotel. He went far above and beyond and I was very happy to use his services again for our return trip to Heathrow. I highly recommend Patrick Egwu.

    I used Patrick Egwu Transport from London to Heathrow Terminal 5. The booking process was smooth and easy. I got a detailed confirmation will my drivers detail. Did booked a very early morning airport drop for my wife and toddler to Luton airport. Patrick was the very first to reponse back on Bark and It was seemless booking experience. Patrick was very hands on and reconfirmed the booking twice back (probably he realised my anxiety being a very early pickup).Car arrived 15 mnts before pickup time and everything was spot on.
My wife was praising how careful and professional the whole drive was and I booked a return pickup straight away with them again.
Will recommend them 100%.

From my first booking inquiry to the drop off at the airport, Patrick was fantastic. Not only were the rates reasonable, the booking process was simple & easy with the app and Patrick was great at communicating on the day of before pickup. The ride to Stansted was comfortable and enjoyable in a clean and spacious car. I am so happy I listened to the reviews and booked with this service - believe the five star rating, it was fantastic!!

Had a very good trip. Just booked a basic car (didn't on this occasion need an Executive one). Was a Toyota Prius, very clean and had more than enough space in boot.

Driver was on time (a few minutes early), despite it being a very early morning transfer. Arrived at LGW perfectly on time. It was also priced very well, cheaper than competitors (it seems the algorithm changes the price depending on length of journey, which is less in the mornings, whereas other companies seem to have a fixed price).

Felt much better having the peace of mind from the journey being pre-booked than risking not finding an Uber/ Freenow driver (or having a 2x surge etc.).

All in all very good.

I strongly recommend this company for transportation inside UK, they are expert in Road, very clean vehicle, very kind and decent driver and it’s easy to book your journey with them either through the phone application or online. The cost of the trip with the type of car is acceptable. My next journey for sure with them

My booking was with less than 24 hours notice, but the company was still able to accommodate me (albeit with a slightly higher fee). They were very responsive with all communication and even sent a formal booking notification through Google Calendar. I’ve read horror stories of people being stranded at the airport with other companies, but I never questioned if a driver would be there for me or not given the level of communication I received.

My ride became very complicated last minute, as my flight leaving the US was delayed 4.5 hours and I could no longer make my connecting flight at Stansted (my booking was for Heathrow to Stansted). As I was sitting on the tarmac ahead of my 9-hour flight, I had to text Patrick to alter my booking by 4.5 hours and now take me to a completely different airport (Luton) for a new connecting flight. He was shockingly able to accommodate me and the man himself was at Heathrow after I landed to collect me! I think most taxi companies would have just cancelled on me with all my drama, but not Patrick.

I looked at a lot of taxi companies prior to making my booking and I’m so happy I chose Patrick Egwu Transportation. It’s not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, but I can tell you their reliability and ability to accommodate changes in itineraries is worth every penny. I will be exclusively using this company for all my future airport taxi needs.

I booked and prepaid as required transfer from airport to hotel as I was traveling from another country with family and we wanted a worry free experience. As soon as Iand, the owner Patrick send me a message he will be an hour late and will offer me a 25% discount or I can hire alternative transportation and he will cover the difference. As he already had collected full fee from me, i regrettably took the 25% refun, my young kids and wife were exhausted and upset we would have to wait an hour to be picked up . In addition, per the website, they meet you in the airport and assist with luggage. Patrick declined to do that and insisted my wife and two young kids walk across the street to airport parking while carrying our several bags of luggage. I paid for his service to assist with the luggage and meet us inside the airport as we hadn’t been to this airport before . Patrick never provided the 25% refund. Worse, he wouldn’t respond to several emails. I finally called requesting the refund and he said he would provide in 24 hours. One month later , he didn’t provide refund, so I left a review from a link provided by an email from him. He immediately contacted me and told me he wouldn’t provide any refund unless I remove the review first. Given he had never kept his word, I told him I would update review once I receive 25% refund but he refused. I am really disappointed as I was swayed by so many positive reviews. Ultimately; he runs a small operation so he isn’t reliable and ultimately he doesn’t honor his word. On the return trip, my hotel booked a black cab and it was much cheaper and so much more courteous than Patrick Egwu.

This is the owner, Patrick Egwu, responding directly to this negative review by Milan Patel. After his initial negative review on our Trustpilot, I reached out to the client for a resolution, however, what I discovered upon trying to resolve the situation with the client is that he is very manipulative and vindictive. The latter two points raised are my candid opinions. Firstly, his claims that he was left stranded at the airport is actually complete lies. Additionally, even the 1 hour time frame that he has posted is also grossly exaggerated. Then black cab cheaper than us - again lies. That we refused to do Meet-and-Greet at Heathrow - another lie. What really stunned me when I tried to reach out to him for a resolution is that he started to insist that we give him a full refund on the service which we provided to him - A FULL REFUND?!?! So, he had moved from the 25% that we offered him initially to now wanting a full refund - in otherwards a "free service", when it cost us quite a bit of money to deliver the service in the first place. Remember, his journey was not a cancellation - we actually provided the service, though the driver was a bit late, so on what grounds should he be given a FULL REFUND?!?! If it was service undelivered, that will make sense, but not when he had already enjoyed the service. This full refund issue is what I refused to honour. As far as I am concerned, a full refund is not justifiable in this case. The 25% refund that we offered, is not mandatory nor part of our company policy - I offered it to him as a goodwill gesture. I am not obliged to give it to him. I reached out to him for an amicable resolution, but the man was pompous - boasting that he earns twice the value of his order per hour. I understand that he felt that the refund was delayed, but the other lie is that "it has been one month" - Milan's booking was actually the 23rd of December 2023, what's today's date again?! He wrote his Trustpilot review almost two weeks ago - today is the 16th of January. I called him and sent him messages, reached out an "Olive Branch" apologetically for a resolution, but instead he increased his demands. If his actions were not out of shear financial motivation, why will he be asking for a full refund on service that he benefited from - will he give a full refund in the same manner if it were his own business, or does he think that he can gain such refund from one of the big name companies?!?! I suspect that because he felt that we were a small company, he will press his luck in that respect. He posted his review on our Trustpilot many days ago, but because he has not gotten what he wants from my business, this morning he came and used an alias name to post same review on our TripAdvisor... He talks about lack of integrity, but by his actions, I believe that he has exposed himself. A man that overstretched and turned a straightforward narrative upside down out of spite against a business merely because he could not get his own way. A man that feels he earns so much, yet wants a small business to provide him costly service "for free"...inconsiderate of the operational costs involved. He feels ENTITLED!!! He tells me that he will never contact me again, yet continues to contact me just because I did not do his bidding. Even a 10 year old understands that we are running a very fluid operation - anything can happen on the road. He claims that we are not reliable - but the previous client reviews contradict this position - almost 900 reviews on TripAdvisor, over 90% of them excellent... I need not say more. I am the owner of Patrick Egwu Transportation. I have thousands of clients - we are working with many clients daily to resolve different areas of discrepancy, disputes, etc, but sometimes, some individuals are difficult to deal with. This client is one of them, and we will not allow people like him to hold our business to ransom by blackmailing our business through negative reviews. I hope that my response will provide neutral and objective readers an insight into the dynamics at play between ourselves and Mr Patel.

Excellent Service at Highly Competitive Prices
Patrick Egwu came up as one of the top ten rated personal transportation services on Trip Advisor and I have to agree that he offers excellent service at highly competitive prices. I booked round trip transportation from Heathrow to a southeast London location in BR6 and Patrick was right on time in each instance. He showed up in a clean, new Mercedes passenger van and he was very polite and professional throughout. Plus, his personality is very engaging and he wanted to make sure that the experience met my expectations and asked what he could do to improve his service. To be honest, nothing was lacking. He simply offers superior personal transportation at extremely competitive prices. I’ll definitely use him again when I London and can highly recommend him to anyone.

Dependable, professional, personable
I chose Patrick because his was a named company and Number 2 on Trip Advisor. His quote to take me from central London to Heathrow was cheaper than everyone else’s. We needed a van because we had a bicycle, and Patrick provided a large Mercedes van, which was perfect. For me it was important to talk to a person THE person who is in charge in order to make sure we would be picked up early for our morning flight to USA, and Patrick immediately made me feel assured that we would be picked up on time, following up our phone call with a What’s App detailed confirmation note. If you want professional personal service at a highly competitive rate, Patrick Egwu Transportation is the car service for you.

The reason I gived four stars, rather than 5, is because on my first booking I specifically payed extra to make sure the driver was going to meet me in the airport. That although, did not happened and I had to meet them outside. Which wasn’t a big deal, but I still payed for an extra service which I did not receive. The journey went smoothly and the car was clean and spacious. The driver was able to meet my needs and was happy to accommodate any issues or questions I might have had. If I find myself in London again, I will definitely book once more!

This was the 1st time but becomes the last. I booked a 8 seater full size van on 17th July 2022 for Heathrow Airport transfer from a Central London hotel. It's clearly stated in their website that it could fit 8 pax with 8 checked-in bags and 16 hand luggage but that's all lies and it becomes the most 'painful and awful' experience I had. We were only 4 adults and 1 kid with 5 checked-in luggage 3 cabin luggage and 1 medium box (instead of 2 boxes as I mentioned in my booking). I sent email and called Patrick's staff before to make sure that the car is suitable and they said it should be fine. The troubles come on the day of my travel. First there are 2 drivers called me which made me confused. And the worst was when the real driver saw my belongings, he rudely said that I should book 2 cars. I told him that I mentioned all my luggage on my booking and even I called and emailed before to confirm there will no problem. The arrogant driver still refused and asked me to call Patrick's office then he left me with all my luggage on the street in front of my hotel. After I called the office and the staff promised me to send another driver, the arrogant driver came back again with the same car. Since it's already 30 mins wasted time and we needed to go to airport ASAP, I had no choice to persuade and beg the driver (Could you imagine that for the cost of GBP 120?) finally the driver agree and I helped him to manage all my belongings into the car. The 'best' was even I gave him a tip as compliment there was no sorry or apology from him even he said that I wasted his time. It's like he thought that it was all my fault. I think the fact that the driver came from different company made might him feels no obligation to satisfy my needs for good review. So it's a 'nightmare' and I certainly don't recommend it as I will never use them again.

Thank you for your review! Our 8-Seater Full-Size Vans are typically Mercedes-Benz Vito, Volkswagen Transporter, Ford Tourneo Custom. On our reservation system we have a Vito in the image - all these vehicle models listed above sit 8 passengers comfortably with room for eight 25kg Check-in bags or double the amount in terms of hand-luggages of approximately 10kg each. Anybody that knows these vehicle models well, will know that they typically sit 8 passengers. We do not lie on our website. We are very transparent, and do not accept this allegation of lies. As a business, our priority is to make sure that when a client orders a service from us and we accept the booking, we deliver the service, even if it means that we have to outsource to cover the booking. We even do this out-of-pocket sometimes. If we are short of drivers, we have backup arrangements with bigger organisations that support us to ensure that we provide the service rather than dissapoint the client - majority of our clients appreciate this, and we know this because clients tell us regularly. We are reliable at all costs. Unfortunately, a few clients under-declare their luggage in a bid to save money. Even for our Full-Size Vans, and this mostly complicates things unnecessarily - if you need two vehicles, order two vehicles rather than trying to force everything into one vehicle. These drivers are paying a lot of money for their vehicles and do not want overloading of any kind in their cars. We are regularly encountering clients that under-declare or even completely ignore the luggage questions on the forms on our website and then when the driver arrives to collect them and realises that there are too much luggage involved, tension between the driver and the client ensues. In such cases a few of the clients affected have threatened us with negative reviews online or negative PR elsewhere even though luggage and passenger capacity for each vehicle category is clear on our website. We have been experiencing clients threatening us in such manner when they do not get their way even in breach of our company policies. Regarding driver behaviour - we are constantly striving hard to ensure driver discipline at all times whilst engaging with clients. However, of course as in all human settings and organisations, some individuals will at some point or the other defy, rebel, disregard instructions or policies etc. In such instances, I would expect a considerate person to first report to us as an organisation in order to give us an opportunity to remedy the situation, then if we fail to work on remedying the situation, one can then attack us online or in public etc. In your case however, you went on the offensive publicly without first reporting the driver's "arrogance" etc to us. With all due respect, I will not bother to debate the accuracy of the narrative in your review, because I think that the accuracy is somewhat negligible considering that I have tried to or have successfully clarified our position or experience as a business in response to some of the underlying issues raised in your review. Patrick Egwu Transportation will continue to strive to improve on its clientele engagement and service delivery. Thank you for your time!

We recently booked Patrick Egwu Transportation for transportation and would never recommend them nor ever use them again.

On their website, Patrick Egwu Transportation advertises a “first-class fleet of spacious, high-spec vehicles” that “afford both elegance and timeless class.” and “dedicated drivers” that “go above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled service to clients.” Trusting the many five star reviews, we decided that after a long international flight it was worth it to pay extra to have someone waiting for us and be guaranteed this level of experience.

On arrival, despite claims that they would meet us past customs, we received a phone call from the owner that he was in the garage and asking us to take an elevator up and come find him. Even then, he did not meet us at the elevators, but asked us to find a black van in the second row. When we finally found him, the van was quite dirty, but Patrick was friendly throughout the drive and we arrived at the hotel safely, so despite being disappointed at the initial service and cleanliness of the vehicle, we were willing to let it go.

On departure, however, things really soured for us. We pre-paid £47,88 for transportation from Mayfair to St. Pancras train station, again paying a premium price for what was advertised to be a premium service. About 30 minutes before we were to be picked up, we received an automated call stating that instead of picking us up as promised, they had arranged an Uber to come get us. I opened my Uber app and noted that an Uber X to St. Pancras was £11,97 (see attached screenshot). The Uber that arrived was a Prius, far from the “high spec” vehicle with a “dedicated driver” that was promised.

After arriving at the train station, I sent Patrick Egwu a text saying that this had been unacceptable – we could have easily ordered an Uber ourselves, and felt that we were due the difference in cost between what we paid and the price of the Uber. Patrick was completely unapologetic calling Uber a “support company” that they leaned on if they didn’t have a driver so as “not to disappoint the customer.” I stated that we never would have paid him 4 times the cost for an Uber that we were quite capable of ordering ourselves, and that he had not lived up to the premium experience his company promised. After much back and forth, he finally offered to refund 10% (£4,78), leaving him still with more than a £30 profit for calling us an Uber. I told him this was still unacceptable and he said he’d write back later but never did and ignored all further attempts I made at communication.

I highly advise anyone considering booking with this company to search for 1 star reviews and see how consistent this is with others’ recent experiences. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that all of the other five star reviews are from legitimate customers who have truly had a premium experience with this company (it’s worth noticing that the majority of these reviews are from individuals who have only ever reviewed this company. It does make you wonder…). We feel completely scammed and highly advise against anyone else believing their false promises.

We were expecting this negative review from this particular client which we feel is completely financially motivated... and unfortunately the statements in her review are not accurate. This is a reviewer that wants to inflict maximum damage simply because she did not receive what we consider an undeserved refund. For objective readers to get perhaps an insight into the reviewer's personality, this reviewer has posted the same review across multiple platforms against our business in order to maximise damage. Our side of the story is as follows: 1.) It is not true that they were asked to automatically meet the driver in the car park. Instead, what happened was that; the driver was early, and we advised them to notify the driver once they get to our designated meeting point in the Arrivals Hall, and that once the driver has been notified, he will walk to the meeting point within two minutes to meet them, or alternatively, if they like and preferred, they could meet the driver in the car park instead. The client opted to meet the driver at the car park instead. Upon getting to the car park, she said "don't worry, we're fine to come to were the car is parked", which was not far from the elevators. The client was guided by the driver from the elevator to the vehicle, seamlessly. 2.) When she says that the car was dirty, almost all the other cars on the road were the same due to the damp soggy weather of the fall/autumn. This is not the driver's fault. 3.) Within Central London, our minimum fare is £47.88 for a Saloon Car. She booked us for a short journey from her hotel to St Pancras International. It does not matter whether one books us from their front door in Central London to their next door neighbour's front door, our minimum fare will still remain £47.88. Our prices for short journeys are kept at such levels in order to dissuade clients from booking us for such short distance journeys as we find them challenging though not impossible to cover. Our business is focused primarily on airport transfers and long-distance transfers which is where you will find that our prices are competitive. 3.) We have a corporate relationship with Uber and other partners across the UK. Our main priority as a business is to deliver the service requested at the time requested and in the vehicle category requested, regardless of whether we use our own direct drivers, or whether we get one of our own partners to cover the job. We are not the only company within our industry operating such a model, and such model is widespread within the logistics and transportation industry globally. Will the client be complaining if she booked with American Airlines but the flight was operated by British Airways?! With these points in mind, we are satisfied that we delivered the service to the client as she requested - correct category vehicle, and on time. 4.) The client is complaining about being sent a Toyota Prius for her last booking. What the client ordered on her booking was a saloon car. A Toyota Prius is a saloon car. There is no where on our website where it states that Patrick Egwu Transportation is an exclusively luxury or executive service provider. When you go onto our website and ask for a quote, you get offered multiple options. The cheapest option is the saloon. You should not opt for a Saloon Car and ignore the Executive Saloon Car option and then complain later that you did not receive an Executive Car. 5.) The client wanted us to refund her the difference between what she paid us and what she sees on her Uber app when she is not certain of what Uber charged us, even though we had gone to great lengths to explain to her in detail the dynamics of our Uber Business partnership. It is noteworthy that on TripAdvisor she only posted images that favoured her position and left out images of our detailed explanations. 6.) By the way, the screenshot on her app is not a screenshot of our Uber Business arrangement for her. That's a screenshot from her own Uber personal app. Again, we insist that she can not prove what Uber Business charged us, in order for her to be making her demands and claims. 7.) Just because she is not happy that we could not meet her financial demand, she wants to doubt the credibility of our reviews. She ignores consistently strong reviews from numerous reviewers that have tens and even hundreds of reviews. Can she please show us any business out there with as many reviews as we have that does not have any negative reviews?! We have consistently scored higher ratings than average across numerous platforms, for many years... "The majority carries the vote". As a business, we maintain our stance in her case, and are satisfied that we have delivered the service to the client as requested initially, and have tried to work with her to find a satisfactory resolution for both parties which the client rejected. We offered her a 10% Refund which she rejected, but which we believe is sufficient compensation for any unintended misunderstanding given the circumstances involved. She has no evidence of what we paid Uber, and therefore has insufficient information to even make the demands that she has been making. Even at that, we still have our minimum fare to consider. So, in summary we are not prepared to meet her demand. Thank you.
