Awesome way to learn salsa with a great instructor - recommended!!!!
Sep 2021
Had a great day learning the fundamentals of Salsa. I was made to feel welcome and at ease the moment I arrived. Alistair is a great instructor and keeps the instruction fun and easy to understand. This is a really enjoyable class that helps you build up a good level of confidence even if you are an absolute beginner (like me).

You learn skills and techniques without even realizing you are doing so. The class is a good size without being overcrowded so you feel comfortable but safe to ask for help if you need to.

I'd definitely recommend and will be attending other classes being run by Alistair.

Awesome way to spend a day learning salsa
Sep 2021 • Solo
Took a one day beginner workshop as a refresher following a very break. It was such a fun day, everyone was very friendly and Alistair, our instructor, used the perfect blend of ice breakers, humour and tuition throughout the day to keep us motivated, engaged and eager to practice our new skills. A great course and I highly recommend this to any newbies.

Briliant experience, brilliant instructor
Aug 2021
A really fun and entertaining experience. Alastair is such a great instructor, filled with great humour, clarity and a clear love for the world of salsa. This session is geared for absolute beginners, but you pick up on so much over the course of the day, that by the end you generate a natural rhythm and a small arsenal of moves that fills you with so much confidence. Just an all-round great experience that I recommend unreservedly.

Great Salsa course
Feb 2020
In 1 day Alastair managed to empower with enough basic salsa moves and confidence to build on and be in a position to start going dancing.

It has been a great day, Alastair creates a great fun atmosphere and brings everyone together.

We can only highly recommend this day!

Thanks again Alastair!

I’m Actually Dancing
Feb 2020 • Solo
Finally I’ve found THE teacher! Alistair has taken away my inhibitions...and I actually found myself dancing (after avoiding dancing for 25 years)!

The class is such fun, and Alistair makes it really easy. Right, left, right, pause:) If I can do it, anybody can do it..

Weekend salsa
Mar 2020 • Solo
I went to my ever first salsa class solo with Alastair, not knowing what to expect.
Alastair was friendly and made the class fun and less awkward to be around stranger and dance with them.
The group was well organised.
Step by step instructions for all and you always feel included and part of the crowd.
Our were 24 people mixed between couple and solo of all different ages which made the salsa experience fun.
It a great experience and I strongly recommend Alastair as an instructor and salsa class.
Definitely going back again :)

Alastair! You’re AMAZING!
Feb 2020 • Friends
Alastair is not only a fantastic teacher and brilliant at putting everyone at ease, he’s also a hilarious comedian!
If you want to have a rapid introduction to Salsa, laugh a lot and make new friends, this day is for you. Thank you Alastair, you’re brilliant!

One tiny moan, (nothing to do with Alastair and the course) at the venue, Salsa Soho, I was not given the 50% discount for my lunch (trying to sort this out at the moment) and we were told we couldn’t eat upstairs even though it was empty and their coffee machine wasn’t working. Alastair hires the venue for his classes so I reiterate, this is not a complaint about Salsa Rapido.

Thanks for your kind words re the course. I'll re confirm the meal offer with the team at Salsa Soho in case I've said the wrong thing. I never publicise it in advance in case it changes. But thanks again and hopefully see you on the i2i Improvers courses on Sundays. Alastair

Welcome to the Salsa World
Feb 2020
First of all I have to admit that I am a terrible dancer. That didn't stop Alistair in his quest of teaching salsa to all the people in world. It is a funny activity which allows you to meet new people spend a good time, have a great laugh. I even was able to learn some moves and steps. From the time I've attended this course my daily mantra is : "Left, Right Left, Pause. Right, Left, Right, Pause"
Thank you Alistair! Sorry my lovely dance partners!

I was unsure if a whole day of salsa would be too much - turns out it isn’t! Alistair was a great teacher, got everyone working together well and we definitely made progress!
