This statue is located directly opposite The Palace of Westminster. It is beautifully carved in stone and has a fabulous backdrop of Westminster Abbey.

The Statue of George V was unveiled in 1947 in Oldham Place Yard next to Parliament Square in Westminster. It is made from portland stone and is 3 metres or 1o feet high. Sculptured by William Dick this statue is grade II listed. Best underground...More

Sort of unimpressive. I thought it would say something on the stone base, but no such luck. Before you exit the garden, there he stands for all to see.
