Excellent night with a variety of "acts" and for a small fee. Friendly staff and the pub is a little gem. Highly recommended.

Nothing bad to say!!!!

Ive been to around 20 shows since Oct 2018 and have enjoyed every single one! The line ups are outstanding, regularly bringing acts that you see on TV and other well known names, along side upcoming lesser known acts who are often a unexpected pleasure. Ive found some absolute gems at Laugh Train Home that i didnt know before!

The venue is cosy and intimate with good sound so its possible to hear even at the back.

Every week the MC's do an amazing job of getting the crowd fired up (it is a tuesday night after all) and theres always a lovely friendly atmosphere.

The recent "Edinburgh Fringe Preview" shows have been a fascinating insight into the comedic process and have been a delight to witness!!

For the chance to see some really amazing comedy from some top names in the business for an extremely reasonable price i certainly recommend Laugh Train Home, nothing bad to say!!!

What a great experience!

Our daughter arranged this special evening for us to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Robyn Perkins the MC was the perfect hostess, giving everyone a warm welcome and providing her own comedy act at this lovely London pub venue. Ivo Graham was hilarious - we'll not hesitate to go and see him again, though we live in Yorkshire! Robyn even read out the birthday poem I'd written for my beautiful wife, so Barbara was 'targeted' - humorously! - for the rest of the evening by the excellent comics. A wonderful evening - thanks to everyone at the Honor Oak for helping us to make my wife's birthday so special.

This is a great way to spend a Tuesday night in South London.

For a fraction of the cost of going up to the West End you get a great night of comedy in an intimte venue with drinks breaks and, if you choose, some great food too.
If you are looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday night look no further.

So one half of the night I couldn't breathe and the other half tears were streaming down my face. I don't bother with reviews usually but I had to for this I honestly nearly wet myself it was hilarious. We're planning to go back on the 27th! Last night we saw Adam Hess, Jim Campbell and Phil Kay and let me tell you the wildcard was just too much. I highly recommend going at least once and for so cheap it's so good! Thanks Robyn for being a wonderful host! Xx

Wonderful way to spend a Tuesday evening
Feb 2018 • Couples
My husband and me came back to see the show on Tuesday evening 6th Feb. All the acts and the mc were fantastic though I have to say that Milo McCabe as Troy Hawke was so mad that I am still repeating some of the jokes even to myself. I would also single out Angela Barnes the week before as having some marvellous lines.

Laugh Train Home
Jan 2018 • Friends
Was at The Honour Oak pub last night to see 'Steve Gribbin' perform at their comedy club, 'Laugh train home', Kicked off with the very funny 'Ed Gamble' , followed by 'Paul Revill' , with Steve as the main act. Haven't seen him in full flight for a very long time. What a tonic! A tirade of political observations, satirically wrapped in very well presented musical vignettes. In these days of overly cocky- and often not funny- blokes in tight suits, Gribbin tells it like it is, and similar to the great Ken Dodd, cracks so many jokes in quick-fire succession, you can't take a breath for laughing! The hardest working man in show business! Brilliant night out!!!

Great Evening of Comedy
Jan 2018 • Friends
Laugh Train Home run three venues Honour Oak, Lavender Hill and Acton but coming from Camberwell Honour Oak was favourite and proved to be a great start to the week.
The pub is great and we started off with a meal which were all good and on a Tuesday plenty of places to sit and chat, beer in hand.
Upsatirs we made ourselves an easy target by refusing to sit at the front and moving those free chairs to the back - but thanks for going easy on us Robyn! It was a great line up ending with Jarleth Regan who was a star. A great small venue for comedy so you are all close to the action (and the bar)
